    Default Secondary shield bash

Can anyone tell me what is secondary shield bash (while performing melee attack)? And, do i have to have certain feats to make it work?

It's just a chance to add a "free" shield bash in as part of your attack chain. A "primary" shield bash is when you attack while blocking to perform one deliberately.

To get secondary bashes, you need to either have the improved shield bashing feat, or some other item enchantment or selected enhancement from one of the trees to add a % chance to perform one.

Shield bashes of any kind have full STR bonus to damage & have a chance to crit. There are some shields that have specific enchantments which can make those occasional bashes hit surprisingly hard, capable of bypassing damage reduction & in the case of stalwart defenders, a bash that counts as a vorpal attack can even inflict a no-save knockdown on an enemy... granted the chance is very low, but still as a "free" effect its not bad.
I don't mean to come across as unsympathetic - but I am, so I do.
