Question Is 17 an 'average' Commendation reward amount?

So far I have seen a screenshot of an End Reward box, with an option for 17 Commendations of Valour.
Does anyone else have sample screenshots of Commendation rewards?

Is 17 an 'average' Commendation reward amount, or has that not been established yet? I imagine it could be quite time-consuming to do so on one's own. Perhaps some folks in the Occupy Wayfinder thing going on might be able to pool resources?

The guy who got that 17 pointed out it was the shortest saga out there and he only did it on normal (and spent AS to upgrad the reward to hard)

So an elite run of a longer saga may give more.

In any case, 17 is too low a number even for the shortest saga, and I expect the devs to raise it (or lower the comms needed for TRing)

They should also allow comms to fall in all epic chests like epic tokens do in eberron chests.

I ran through on normal, and paid the 15 shards to upgrade to an Epic Hard completion list.
Bug: Everytime I've been prompted to pay shards, I have been locked into mouselook mode (I was in that mode when starting the conversation). You get no pointer, and can't toggle, so you can hit enter to accept or escape to decline the dialog, but, yea, bug.

Note that the menace chain is 13 quests total, longer than The End of Eberron.

16 commendations for an Epic Hard completion.

"Multi-tasking" both sagas and running 17 quests yields 33 commendation.

That's completing both sagas 28 times for a heroic heart.
476 quests for a F2P, 448 quests for a VIP, and 420 quests for a VIP that's willing to kick in 280 shards.

35 times for an Iconic true heart.
595 quests for a F2P, 560 quests for a VIP, and 525 quests for a VIP that's willing to kick in 350 shards.

61 times for an Epic heart.
1037 quests for F2P, 976 for a VIP, and 915 for a VIP that's willing to kick in 610 shards.

88 times for both an Epic and Heroic heart.
    1496 quests for a F2P, 1408 for a VIP, and 1320 quests for a VIP that's willing to kick in 880 shards.

Or (and this is thinking waaaaaaay outside the box) allow Epic Tokens to fall in all level +20 quests. That's pretty much how things worked prior to MOTU, except it was strictly for Epic quests when Epic was a single difficulty.

it takes a lot of time and effort to run on a server that gains you nothing in the real game. Even if the rewards happen to be double those of the current 2 tested(which at this point doesn't seem likely) it is still a ridiculously terrible grind.

You should make more data points if you feel that way
To me the data is quite sufficient though.

There's no reason to think there's any variation in the data - all other rewards are discrete, you get the same quantity for the same reward tier every time. There's also no reason to believe that, if Hard yields 17, that Elite is going to yield 1700, which is pretty much what it'd have to be to make Saga TRing comparable to Token TRing.
