    Default The Grimreaper, an untouchable killer.

    After many folks asked me many questions about the build I played on my last life, I decided to post the notes I took over the last month to create the Grimreaper. Unfortunatly I didn't have a chance to play it at cap because I decided to continue my road to completionist; But I totally had a blast playing it and will eventually comeback to this build once I get the last few PLs I need. Please be aware that a few tomes are needed to make the build work, you can always spread ability level up here and there to do the job. Now enough' talking.

    Leveling pattern I used

    M - R - R - M - W - R - R - R - R - W - W - W - W - W - W - W - W - W - W - W

    Taking monk as the first level for extra feat, stance & wrap use at low level, followed by 2 ranger for TWF and sprint boost, finnaly another and last monk for evasion. Getting the rest of Ranger as soon as possible to get diehard & iTWF and finish to cap with the wizard levels

    Unforunatly I didn't take screenshots of stats, ed and trees but theyt really depend on your preferences once you got the basic (Wraith form, tempest, etc).

    I've been leveling the same build with minor alterations.

    Shortswords (eventually Celestia), Ninja Spy Core 1 to stay centered with them
    high enough up the PM tree for Improved Shrouding (btw it doesn't raise Wraith incorp to 35% as stated, only to 30%, bugged or WAI?)
    no improved evasion from the tempest tree

    Still working on leveling to 20 though (16 so far), but I'm loving it. It's a great class combo, very durable and perfect to solo stuff in.

    A few remarks to your build:
    * You mention using black dragonhide armor, but you also mention a dodge cap of 25%, how is that possible?
    * Elaborate Parry doesn't make you go over the dodge cap, at least not when I last tested it with armor (didn't test with robes). Did they fix it?
    * You're not using Monk stances?
    * You mention +7 enhancement bonus to damage, but no deadly item. So where does that come from since deadly is also of type enhancement and so wouldn't even stack if you had one?

    Blitz is limited by your dodge cap, so... 25%, not 125%. Fairly sure enhancement damage comes under base. Also sure base of Adaxus axe is 27.03 for EE, not 38. Unless you included crit profile changes for base, in which case you're slightly off - most +dmg abilities are multiplied. Offhand also gets 1/2 str bonus, but that's just me nit picking.

    Nice to hear, make sure to give me feed back once it's capped, I did think about it but the huge sernegy between axe and LD made me go for the Axadus route.
    Also, thanks for pointing out those things, should be corrected now!

    Fixed some calcs, gears and all that stuff, thanks for the feedback!

    Any more comments are welcome, I'm trying to perfect the build as much as I can, and of course, questions will be anwsered as fast as I can !

    1. Blitz 50% is (or at least it was last I checked) and will not take you over the 25% base like it says.
    2. How does 25% + 30 (elab. parry) = 75%. Assuming it works, that would put you at 55%. I cannot confirm that it allows you to go over the 25% cap (28% with the monk enhancement Agility 3/3). I would assume that the elab. parry suffers from the same bug that Blitz (50%) and Meld into darkness (100%) do. I highly doubt you have ever seen your toon make it to 125% dodge.

    The 24 Sheltering and 14 Slotted share same type of PRR increase (enhancement), so your total here based on the numbers would only be 60. Of course you could get some more if in Earth Stance.

    Sorry human tree would only give you +1 to strength. The other would need to go into another stat. What is giving you +4 Alchemical?

    Well the Dragon helm doesn't have 2 blue/green slots, but fortunately you can switch the globe on the armor with one of the 2 blue augs slotted on the helm.
    In addition, the EE Jeweled Cloak has 1 green, 1 yellow, so one of those needs to go elsewhere too. I guess if you are going to wear the guardian's ring, you can put in the place of the 14 PRR slot.

    It is also the Skirmisher's Bracers that give the 8% Doublestrike.

    What is giving you +4 Alchemical?

    You are right for blitz, never realised it didn't stack. Just checked with another toon. But for Elaborate parry I can definatly tell you it goes above your dodge cap. Verified myself.

    I did think about getting stances but I can't be centered with Axadus and I really fell in love with those. They would need to put a monk wep that is really OP for me to make a change there.

    Tenser give me +4 STR, DEX, CON. ~2:50 long.

    I do agree with that, but, most of the time in EE, trip = death.

    Where do you would you point the .5 point anyway?

    I maxed Heal, Spellcraft and UMD. And put what's left into Spot.

    Spellcraft makes your few spells hit a bit harder and Spot is used to see hidden creatures sooner. Both are not necessary but better than Balance imho. I currently have around 40 Balance in Wraith form with DEX factored in. And when I get tripped I STILL spend a good time on my back so I'm questioning the usefulness of the skill.

    Interesting build. I may roll up a 32 point build just to see how it plays real quick. A couple of questions.

    - If I went 32 point, assuming only +2 stats all around (But if I like the build will invest +3 or +4 where needed) how would you spread the points?

    - You went Helf. What Dili did you take? Rogue for SA? I didn't see it in your damage so I didn't want to assume. If you took human you cold grab another feat, though for the life of me I wouldn't know what else to grab. Maybe Precision? Empower for more Neg Aura Heals?

    - What was your leveling progression?

    Before starting a 32 points version, I think I'd make sure I will have at least +3 to STR, CON & DEX so you can achieve the prereqs for OC, eToughness & Full TWF line.
    For stats I'd go with;

    STR - 16 Base + 3 Tome + 4 level up. There's goes OC.

    DEX - 14 Base + 3 Tome. There goes full TWF line.

    CON - 16 Base + 3 Tome + 2 Level up. (Which left you with one level up that I would probly put on STR.) There goes eToughness.

    INT - 12

    WIS - 10

    CHA - 8

    -

    If I went human, I would fit Mental Tougness in my feats setup.
