    Default Change matters!

That's really all there is to it, no change and boredom will kick in faster then you can say "Yawn".

One, two! One, two! and through and through. The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head. He went galumphing back.

Depends, change can cause boredom as well. Take the current ghostbane-ing of the entire loot tables in the game for instance. Chests used to be exciting to open.
Advocating repeated nerfs in the name of "balancing the game" then complaining about how DDO is moving away from D&D, is a direct contradiction in logic - D&D 3.5 (what DDO is based on) is not a balanced game. We can either have a balanced clone MMO with homogenized classes, or we can have a D&D game. We cant have both.

Change is good. Continuous change isn't change, it's chaos.

I did find the rare "holy of ghostbane" handwraps yesterday.
