I hate hirelings. I hate babysitting them and I hate if they are taking party slots when they can be replaced by the real player.
If I join a party with hireling? Ok. Fine by me, it is not my party. But if I am the leader, it's a whole different story.
Here is a situation. I post LFM: bring your own heals (not a hireling), in progress. In half of the quest, another player joins and pop a hireling. So I ask him to kick him out. Nothing happens. Course I can recall out, drop the party and squelch the player. But I won't because I am in the half of the quest already.
Another situation. Five players including me in the party. We step in a quest and someone pop hireling without asking. Well ok. He/she obviously needs heals. So I let the LFM up with: healer would be nice, send tell please (using hire). Few mins later I'll get a tell from a cleric who would like to join. So I ask the summoner to dismiss his hireling. No reaction. Seems like he/she can't live without his hjealmeh any second (until the real healer get in the quest) so I have to send sorry tells to the cleric because I have ignorant in the party.
And this is not the first time that something like this happened to me.
So why the leader can't dismiss hirelings no matter who summoned them? Would be great improvement to have some button that do not allow summoning hireling in my party...............I see the rainbow............
It won't happen. I know.
And sorry for another whining thread
