This is not to say stuff doesn't happen and folks take a hit they cannot survive; happened to Braxyn the second night. But when the cleric has to chase people down to heal and way to many baddies are getting upset at our presence - then it is time to slow down.
We seemed to be in a rush finish these adventures which is not what we should be doing - rushing.
Not really wanting to cause a hubbub - yet. If the healer is out of magic due to someone being foolish and can't heal those who are playing smart, then everyone suffers. And yes, the "dead" guy suffers a bit, but the others are left short-manned (no Dwarf jokes here buddy!) and without the skills of the one who died, so everyone is impacted. Lack of those skills could later mean the difference between success and party wipe. As we move to tougher quests we will need everyone playing smart.I'm a little confused why the hubbub over a couple of deaths in each group, especially since the groups still completed the quests. The only people really negatively impacted are the players who died. Is it our goal that no one will ever die in a quest?
The time to learn to play smart is now.
