Default Looking for an Updated TWF Bard Build

Hey all, I really don’t know much about Bard but I really want to play one and am looking for a build. I want it to be melee based, not casting based. I really want to go TWF and play as a dwarf, although I’d go human if it’s going to gimp the character too much. I want him to be a support/melee character. On epic levels I think it would be neat to have the option to stay in fatesinger and maybe use something like epic envenomed blades when I care more about support but also have the option to switch to LD/FoTW when I want pure DPS. If I could serve as a decent healer that would be neat as well.

For enhancements I originally wanted to go warchanter but the tree looks pretty meh so I was thinking spellsinger may be better.

I really have no idea what to do as far as feats and splashes. Off the top of my head I was thinking atleast a fighter level or two for feats, proficiencies and haste boost. If someone could suggest a build or point me towards one I’d appreciate it, thanks!

I've been toying with bard 16 / rgr 3 / ftr 1 for TWF+Manyshot bards. Rgr 3 gets you 3 feats (Bow STR, TWF, Rapid Shot), +10% offhand procs, and some low-tier goodies (e.g., Pos Spellpower from DWS, Conjure Arrows+imbues from AA); ftr 1 gets you an extra feat, cheap Haste Boost, and Extra Action Boost. You get 11 or 12 feats (7 heroic + 1 ftr + 3 epic + 1 if human); that's enough for Power Atk, PBS, ITWF, Manyshot, Imp Crit, GTWF, Cleave, GC, Inspire Excellence, and Overwhelming Crit, with 1 or 2 feats left over (e.g., Emp Heal, khopesh, Toughness). ED feats: PTWF and maybe Lasting Inspiration. Bard 15 / rgr 3 / ftr 2 would also work, if you'd rather have another feat than lvl 6 spells; bard 15 / rgr 3 / rog 2 if you really want Evasion + trap skills. Fatesinger for a support role; FotW for a DPS-focused role.

That's sound really really neat. I really like the idea of splashing ranger, I didn't even think about it.

TWF (specced for rapiers & short swords, easy to change to picks or whatever), Manyshot+Bow STR, pretty good healer (Quik+Emp Heal for CCW, MCMW, and Rejuv Cocoon). 90% offhand procs w/Tempest, +40 Pos Spellpower & +2d6 sneak atks from DWS, Conjure Arrows + imbue from AA; max Haste Boost from Kensei; T5 songs from Spellsinger; some perks from WC. Main problem is I run outta APs before I run outta things I want, which is the recurring problem with the new Enhancements.

EDIT: skills I would max: Concentration, Heal, Perform, UMD. I staggered the rgr lvls in part so you can use them to max out Heal. Any leftover pts can go where you prefer.

I've been following your build, I'm on level 11 it's a lot of fun so far. I've never played a TWF, Manyshot or Bard before so it's a nice changeup from my main.

Why dont you try a bard/barbarian?
Right now im leveling a bard/barbarian raveger, so the power attak stacks, with rage
You'll need a lot in UMD so you can use wand and scroll, it will help u a lot.

    Because barbarian sucks.

    Naw, it's okay. I prefer fighter/ranger or fighter/rogue, though.
the old 16/2/2 still works well.
And 16/2/2 could be real interesting if they ever drop the stupidity of needing and LR +1 on PDK, so you can go rogue at level 1. WOuldn't be able to fit in OC at 21, but twf bard barely has the feats the waste on cleave and g cleave anyhow (They both suck for twf anyhow at high levels).
