    Crikey!!!! Check out those mandibles!!!!!

Those are some type of wasp right? Check out the size of their stingers OUCH!!!

When I was a kid i had a wasp next fall down my shirt and got stung multiple times by 20+ wasps......man that really hurt but at least they where not massive like these ones!!

I was playing tag, ran past a bush knocked the nest down and it fell into my shirt, i must of been jumping 2 feet of the ground screaming and crushing wasps in my hands. Lucky it was a very small nest.

Good thing also im not allergic, been stung by centerpides and blue bottle jelly fish too.

These are the true bugs inside DDO. Now you know why DDO has a hard time fixing some of the stuff. Who would want to mess with that?

Funny thing about hornets (dutch variety at least, dunno about these) is they're not actually aggressive. Unless you directly threaten them or their nest they'll keep an eye on you but nothing more. And being pure predators, they don't care about you cake or lemonade either

    Can you see the wasp?

It's just over there - that little black speck in the corner.

    Never mess with Aussie spiders.

Doesn't Australia have the most venomous snake species? I know I could google it, but I am off to clean up.

#1 Belcher Sea Snake: Found Nth Australia. Few mg is enough to kill 1000 people. Yup.
#2 Inland Taipan: Australia, found in parts of Vic/NSW/NA/SA. Yeah, has nothing on the sea snake, but it's the most poisonous land snake.
#3 Eastern Brown Snake: Australia, near populated zones.
    #4 Not Australian! Don't care.
#5 Regular Taipan: Australia. Yeah, weak version of #2. (#2 is a subspecies, who cares.)
#6 Black Mamba - nice name. Not Australian, don't care.
#7 Tiger Snake - Australian, woo! 30 mins 'till death. So.. it has nothing on that sea snake.
    #8 Cobra, not Australian.
    #9 Viper - coolest ones aren't Australian.
#10 Death Adder - nice name, sexy snake, Australian. .13 seconds from rest -> bite -> starting position.

Want me to go into scorpions? (Some of the "aussie" snakes are found elsewhere, but I don't care. I OWN ALL AWESOME SNAKES.)

It is official, I fear the Mantis Shrimp.

The Mantis Shrimp looks like a Carrion Crawler.

But it sounds like the Mantis Shrimp just loves beating the stuffing out of everything, just because it can.

Ha Ha, way to bring back the memories moomooprincess. I remember those little &#@&*@&@. Woke up one morning and had one of them eyeballing me like I was a piece of meat. Imagine he was thinking of biting my head off, dragging my body away and raiding my MRE's. The head biting and dragging I could deal with, But NOBODY touches my MRE.

I think Australia has the most species of venomous snake.

The most venomous snake in the world is the Belcher’s Sea Snake.

The most venomous snake on land is the Inland Taipan (Australia).

The most dangerous snake, however, is allegedly the African Black Mamba (though the Puff Adder is credited with killing more people), as it has a highly toxic venom (one strike can kill a dozen people), can move quickly, and it is also highly aggressive. The Asian Blue Krait rivals the black adder as even when administered anti-venom, people still die from a bite. But they are nocturnal and reclusive, and therefore sissies.

But the worst snake to get bitten by probably has to be either the Puff Adder, whose bite can lead to gangrene, or the North American Rattlers, whose venom is also hemotoxic and necrotic in nature. The only way to treat the damage of the venom is to expose the damaged tissue to air (as it oxidizes quickly), which means that they will often put open a envenomed limb down to the bone, much in the way they filet a fish, and expose the raw muscle to the open air.

And yeah, I’ve seen pictures of this kind of treatment. That kind of stuff you just can’t get out of your brain…

I think these are from China. I read an article lately about a guy in China who disturbed a nest of these things, got stung (a lot) and died.

They are supposedly highly aggressive and...uh...big.
