    Default A new House Phiarlan Adventure Pack!

    So we've been seeing all these new fancy Expansion Packs and Adventure Packs coming out now for new Favor Patrons, but I think I'd like to see more exciting Adventures for some of our older patrons, such as House Phiarlan.

    Now, I liked Phiarlan Carnival chain, and it's still easily my top favorite chain gameplay and storywise, especially Partycrashers. I guess it's just that feeling of taking on a spy-like role that makes it exciting.

    So I was randomly thinking: What if we had a new adventure where our services were required by the Serpentine Table again? Throw in a puzzle or two, add in some optional sneaking parts, include the end fight being nothing but a hilarious dialogue assuming you did the correct optionals, and the etc.

    Who knows? Maybe we'll get to see Malicia again.

    Anyway, that's just my general idea. Just putting it out there.

    Yeah I've been kinda wondering if we're ever going to see more Favor added to the core factions, or if every new expansion is just going to tack on another new faction in Faerun with its own reward list.

    I'd also like to see more quests where you get to bash in the heads of the good guys like in Running with the Devils. It's just an amusing change after killing hundreds of evil/neutral aligned enemies.

    Serpentine table has decided to put a stop to rogue silver flame agents who are dead set on slaughtering innocents that are not of their faith. It would tie into things they have already put into house P and would be the bashing in good aligned bad guys thing that you wanted. They could then tie it into the mad archon in amrath and follow it with a crazy badguy-celestials storyline to finish the amrath story.

    House Phiarlan

    Information is Key {in the Harbour}
    Rest for the Restless, Purge the Heretics, Caged Trolls, Gwylan's Stand
    Phiarlan Carnival {Epicable}
    Tangleroot
    Threnal
    Spawn of Whisperdoom
    Desert Caravan

    Plus the Entire Necropolis of course!

    Tear of Dhakaan is actually House K Favour!

    House K

    Tear
    Haverdasher {In the Harbour}
    Chamber of Insanity, Lair of Summoning, Forgotten Caverns, Ruined Halls, Taming the Flames, Caverns of Korromar
    Stromvauld's Mine {In House D}
    VoN {Epicable}
    Red Fens {Epicable}
    Ataraxia Quests
    Made to Order + Relic of a Sovereign Past {Questgiver in House D Temple}

    House D

    Cannith Crystal {In Korthos}
    Depths Chain
    Gladewatch Outpost {In the Market}
    Sentinels of Stormreach {Epicable}
    Sorrowdusk
    The Pit, Stormcleave Outpost

    House J

    Necromancer's Doom in Korthos {guess what? Undead Galore!}
    Redwillow's Ruins, Dreams of Insanity, Tempest Spine and about 50 Undead Quests!

    All the Houses should have new quests added so that it's actually possible to earn 400 Favour {And that Favour should give a PROPER Reward unlike Free Agents for example!}.

    BUT

    In my view it's House J that is in the Direst need of upgrading...

    1) No Epic Chain {Not even one Epic Quest!}.

    2) Only P2P Pack accessible from this House and giving favour for this House = Delera's {Please Please Please Devs DO NOT Epic Delera's!}.

    3) Only 3 Quests in the Entire House that Don't involve 90% or more Undead!

    4) This is a House full of Clerics, FavSouls and Paladins!
    What the Heck is going on here?

    Give us a NEW Chain in House J {Possibly fleshing out the area around Tempest Spine OR a Contiuation of Xorian/Dreams of Insanity that DOESN'T Involve Undead!}.
    Place it at base Lvl 15 / Epic Lvl 25

    Make Sure enough Favour is given to hit 400 Jorasco Favour!

    Once you've sorted out House J here's some more ideas:

    House P - Remake Threnal!!! - The Giant Caves alone could be remade and added to the Favour List to get House P over 400!

    House K - Upgrade Black Anvil Forest into a Proper Explorer Zone with another Quest Chain Added {Base Lvl 18, Epic 28}.

    House D - Give us a Proper Sovereign Host Chain once we've completed Relic - New Patron would be Nice But this could be added to House D Favour for now.

    I would enjoy seeing Stormreach further expanded, both with additional heroic and epic level quests. I wonder what kind of favor rewards they'd hand out for the different houses.

    As far as fighting against good enemies go, there could also be a quest line where you have to infiltrate a gang/cult/what have you. Following the idea with House Phiarlan, the Serpentine Table's been unable to get an agent in the ranks of this group; they're somehow able to recognize and either dispatch or capture the agents sent their way. Believing there may be a leak in their ranks, your contact is using adventurers to infiltrate and to try and find out what's going on.

    The first quest could be something along the lines of posing as a new gang of thieves coming in and causing problems. You and your party are in disguise as you shake down shops, smash stalls and boxes, fight with the guards, etc. It all ends up getting the attention of the group you're supposed to infiltrate. Most likely an enigmatic figure approaching and warning your party to stop the tomfoolery. Of course, you're not going to listen, so there's more criminal shenanigans, angering the town guards and maybe even having an NPC adventuring party or two getting in on the action in trying to stop you. When enough chaos is caused, the figure approaches again, this time confronting and engaging in combat. Likely with back-up, of course. Halfway through the fight, a large group of guards roll up, and the mysterious figure and any surviving minions are turned into allies as you deal with the mutual threat. After fending off the guards, talking to the figure ends the quest; the figure's letting the heat die down, but arranges a meeting with your party sometime later in the night.

    Second quest, you go to the meeting - only to find yourselves betrayed. Guards arrive everywhere, you get busted. It might be a straight up scripted event, or it might have a few waves of guards thrown your way, but ultimately something happens where you get caught. Maybe even have a choice - the guards first ask you to stand down, agreeing takes you to the jail immediately, disagreeing breaks into a fight for a few waves before "being overwhelmed" and hauled in. Fade to black, appear in your cell - maybe some of the guards taunting you. They leave, but another guard comes a few seconds later, unlocking the door and "slipping your things back to you" (ie, explaining why you have all of your gear) and just saying a name. The party then cruises around the prison to try and find the prisoner the guard had named.

    This could be a stealth-or-combat mission, avoiding patrols and having multiple ways to get through. Maybe even have some social options with prisoners in other cells to have them cause various distractions - making noises that draw patrols to investigate, or letting prisoners free to fight the guards, etc. Maybe even have a particularly stealthy group be able to find guard uniforms, which placates guards as long as you don't cause problems. Finding your target, it turns out they're part of the group you're trying to infiltrate; your goal is to escape with them. This can be done by finding a sneaky way out and causing a large distraction, finding some secret way out (secret passage or a tunnel someone else dug), dress up as guards and escort the target out, or even slaughter enough/all of the guards and make a run for it. The target refuses to leave their cell until they're certain they can escape, so you don't have to worry about a guard/escort mission. Escaping then leads to a scene where the figure from the first mission shows up, congratulating you - and giving an offer to let you join their ranks. Mission ends, so on and so forth.

    I do have more ideas on how the arc could continue, but I shan't pontificate on them at this point in time. Instead, should House J have more missions added and the undead theme was arrested, what would be a preferred adversary? I, personally, would like to see some excuse or another to include the dino-riding halflings in at least one quest.

    Alternately... Epic "The Pit." And then make a raid - "Deeper Into the Pit"

    Another low-mid level raid with trogs and oozes as the main bad guys would be pretty awesome.

    Although I do agree with FranOhmsford about House J needing more, it'd be nice to finally be able to use Reckard Sorl, for Expert Accessory Repair.

    Shortly after the Red fens came out, I asked when would Reckard Sorl would be accessible to players. I got a reply that players would get enough House P favor "soon" in a few updates. That was three years ago or 13 updates ago, for those keeping track.

    I don't think we'll ever see Sorl working. And comments from the Devs seem to point to Eberron being strictly in Epicifying mode with no future content...unfortunately.

    Dang. Then more favor for doing a quest on Epics would be awesome.

    Default Another Adventure Pack I'd like to see

    Speaking of Attack on Stormreach, that story arc never had a definite conclusion, did it? All the adventurers were able to do was stop the progress of Droaam's armies marching onto Stormreach, but Sora Katra got away (almost) unscathed, and she seemed pleased knowing that all her officers were killed and just teleported away while we fought against Armored Ogres riding on backs of Rust Monsters.

    That just screams sequel.

    We could have a quest where it starts out as one of Stormreach's spies gather intel that Droaam is preparing for another assault and the Coin Lords decided that sending an entire army would not be enough, as they'd be fighting on their territory and they'll be well-prepared for them.

    Instead, they hire a small, elite group of adventurers (us) to infiltrate Droaam and sabotage their war plans on Stormreach. Like raiding their supplies or facilities [No, not the (Very) Public Restroom, they did that joke already]. Or even paying them back for setting up that Harbor mine blockade and set up mines of our own against their warships.

    And then, as always, something will go terribly wrong and we find out that we can't stop the invasion just by mere sabotage, so we have to march into the capital and take down the leaders, who may or may not consist of the three hag queens, Sora Katra, Sora Maenya, and Sora Teraza.

    I think it'd be decent.

    Another experiment of Magus Littleton (the guy responsible for the trogs in "Acid Wit") perhaps? The trogs being experimented on got away, hooked up with the Juibless cult, and either make augmented oozes, or trying to open up portals to let in other servants/aspects of Juiblex.

    Then again, if The Pit and a subsequent raid had Epic options... Epic Muck's Doom...

    A sequel arc could be pretty fun. They could even run it a half F2P, half P2P like the first Attack on Stormreach. First half could be trying to retake the beaches. Stormreach is wanting to mount a defense at the beach; an adventuring party is sent out to disrupt supply lines and delay reinforcements to demoralize and weaken Droaam forces, and then ultimately reunite with the main forces to eradicate Droaam's remaining standing army. Going into the second half sends the party across the sea to Khorvaire to take the fight to Droaam, with the proposed ideas of further disruption and ultimate storming to take on the leaders.

    This does sound like fun! Some other great ideas in this thread as well, especially the Trog + Ooze raid! Would really love to see a raid version where you face off against followers of Juiblex!

    Who knows? Maybe we'll get to see Malicia again.
    Well, we actually have seen the end of her. In the quest The Shavarath quest Wrath of the Flame we get to face her back on her home plane, and killing an outsider on their home plane results in true death for them. But then again, Wrath of the Flame came out before Carnival of Chaos, so no reason we couldn't see her again at some point in the timeline in between!

    While I agree with you guys, all I can say is that none of this will probably ever happen.

    Turbine is on the kick of selling expansion packs in Eveningstar. The best you’ll get is a Caged Trolls re-tread that scaled for epic (ala Gianthold). Doing something to gives new content for VIPs is not on the agenda.

    Well, if the story order works in increasing level order, Malicia could appear in a level range after Phiarlan Carnival but before Devils of Shavarath.

    How about an epic shavarath? Shavarath is not currently a relevant area.

    i'd love to see a crazy final quest, a war against drooam army, with bunch of allies npcs and enemis and some objectives to complete. Just a blood mess all over the place. Also could be a chain with some objectives and some big war at the end. Kinda a big big big Summerfield, either splited in a chain or a big freaking quest. Ofc it could be an awesome raid as well.
