    Question Did Mabar Break Something?

I rarely experience significant lag, and when I do, other people tend to comment on experiencing lag at the same moment.

However, since Mabar, I'm lagging out on when logging onto a character. I guess it's what people call "zone in." My character zones in, the red latency de-buff icon appears and I can't do anything at all until I get the disconnected massage. The second attempt is almost always better.

Additionally, I'm experiencing moments where I don't move forward when I press W. It doesn't move, I lift my finger press again, and it moves. If I rapidly tap W, I rapidly start and stop without fail. And then, soon, I'll go to move forward and not be moving.

I've visually verified on these occasions that my finger was on the W button, and I've checked the keyboard for obstructions.

    What's going on here?

lol did you just ask if mabar broke "something"?

The word something implies one thing.
Through avarice, evil smiles; through insanity, it sings.

The log in thing is usually internal fragmentation of the dat files causing longer than what the program likes seek time on your hard drive. It's why people with an ssd don't have the issue at all. So it sounds like you got internal fragmentation during the u19.2 update.

preloader helps, readyboost on win vista/7 helps, install to a usb or ssd, about all you can do. even if you reinstall it will happen again eventually in anywhere between 3days to a few months in my experience.

I do, regularly. In fact, I did it twice before I decided to post here.

Anyway, what he said was "internal fragmentation" not data fragmentation.
