    Default Devs - What's up with the poison pots?

    I'm finding I have to pop Cure Poison pots twice now.

    I take one, inventory decreased by one, cool down started, still poisoned (even when all creatures who can poison are now dead), I take a second pot, cured.

    I can't recall it taking more than two pots, but very often does take two.

    I hadn't noticed that. I'll have to watch for that.

    Did you bug report it?
    Author of Info Blue UI Skin (Really wish Turbine would update the skinning interface and enable all the new UI parts.)
    If you don't have an SSD, you should be using DDOPreload (fixes the slow first login issue)

    OK, so now that the thread-jacking is over, I know I'm not the only one observing this. Is anyone else bug reporting it?

    The poison pots don't seem to removed to 'poison countdown', just stop new "poison countdowns" for starting and prevent the effects of any that go off. So, if you neut poison effect runs out before an extant poison countdown goes off, you'll still get hit by the effect.

    On the other hand, it will remove the special medusa poison effect, will remove the stacks of poison vulnerability that certain monsters hit you with, and the sickened effect of troglodyte stench.

    I'd assume it's not WAI, but it's been like that for some time now.

    For example, you get hit by a poison and save vs the primary poison effect. The countdown starts for the secondary poison effect, which will go off in something like 30 seconds to 1 minute later. If you drink a ~20 second poison pot, it won't have any effect on the countdown to the secondary effect. It would stop the secondary effect from going off, if it fired, but it won't remove the countdown for the secondary effect.
