    Default Can i get con mod to hit?

    When i look at racial tree i find this fun thing con mod to damage. But i dont find anywhere con mod to hit. If you go for ee content you really in my experience need high to hit. So i am asking : do any use this enhancement succesfully or is it nice on paper but garbage for a good build in ee content? I have thought around it and really see no point in it. IF I am right we should convince turbine of making an enhancement for con to hit also. IT would not be op methinks. (Need str for ocrit and most pref human feat skill and heal amp anyway)

    Con mod to damage is silly in itself and shouldn't exist a con modifier makes even less sense and should never happen period.

    The ANTI-Realms FANBOI NUKE THE REALMS ITS THE ONLY REAL WAY TO BE SURE

    hmmmm, a tad bit of a necro,

    My dwarven tank has a str 32

    16 base
    02 level up
    05 tome
    01 (unknown source, prob exeptional)
    08 item bonus

    giving me a 23 base for overwhelming crit

    i went for the same enhancement line as you did, 70 con with just shipbufs is a better damage mod then my str
    But i woried about the same. So far i have run every lv 20+ on EE, i haven't missed on anything but a 1.
    I have a -5 pen to hit due to power attack.
    The tank has 2 fighter past lives (+2 to hit)
    You also get a bunch of +1 to hit with axes enhancements, they are required to get the con to damage enhancements

    if you have problems to hit there might be another reason.

    can you post your build/build idea's up here?

    the most common mistake: 1 thing is miss, 1 thing is grazing hit, low hit means several grazing hits, lower hit means misses+grazing hits, with the bab of a fighter u're out of the "lower hit category"
    psykopeta - hoarding pl, for the sake of hoarding, the day i become ubercompletionist will be because there isn't anything to delay it more - thelanis, where the gimps claim to be pros and noobs claim to be pros, no newbies allowed(unless they claim to be pros), we have enough drama w/o them. PS i'm not a pro, maybe if i reincarnate in RL...

    What is even sillier, PDK gets charisma modifier for attack and damage with shortswords, longswords, bastard swords and greatswords. Plus a charisma based bonus to tactical feats, As a tier 1 !!!!!!

    Dwarves get con mod to damage ONLY... as a tier 4 feat! That is silly. Throw your Weight Around really should have attack. damage and FULL con bonus to tactical added.

    Heroic version of Unkor's Cleaver uses Con for attack and damage.
    The Epic version doesn't though. Other than that can't think of anything for attack.

    Neither should exist they are silly I could see Dex, Str, Int, or even possibly wisdom having logical reasons but not Con or Cha

    It's called momentum, you use your body momentum to increase your strength, it happens just all the time in sports, it allows puny humans to throw 100 miles per hour fastballs.

    Another way to look at it is to think about weight classes in combat sports. A 200-lb. man is only marginally stronger than a 160-lb. man, but that 40 lbs. of weight gives him an almost insurmountable advantage at relatively equal levels of skill.

    As for Charisma, I'm forced to imagine an adventurer shrieking "not the face! not the face!".

    oh well, here goes:

    I was talking about full hits, not grazing (full damage)

    as for the rest:
    i can understand cha to damage somewhat, your hurting their feelings with your ego! (shouldn't work on mindless mobs though...)

    @Topic
    You can take Finesse or Ranger Levels to apply Dex to Hit with Light Weapons, it'll increase your AC which makes sense with the tanking theme so you'd have maxed out both stats either way. Arties get Int to hit somehow but I don't play the class so I can't say for sure.

    when logged in:
    look at the box with someones name, on the bottom their are 2 options: add rep and report(usualy for negative behaviour), basicly hover over it to see what it does

    Arties can cast Insightful Strikes (INT to-hit) and Insightful Dmg (INT to dmg), but you can't have both buffs simultaneously. An arty 3+ / rog 6+ can have Insightful Strikes + Targeting Sights (INT to dmg).

    the only problem with any non-str build is that overwhelming crit is still a str feat... And it makes a big difference in damage...

    it was posted elsewhere....

    dwarf tank example:
    lv 1
    str 16 +2 lv up, +5 tome=23 base for overwhelming critical
    con 20 +5 level up, +2 dwarven con, +5 tome, +11 item, +1 Exceptional, +2 class, +6 stance, +3 Insightful, +2 ship, +2 yugo, +5 ED, +2 completionist, +2 house D pot, etc,
    you can get con up real high.
    The entire con to damage seems to be a effort from turbine to reach out to ac/hp tanks.
