Starting to get very annoyed at the irresistible poison a number of places. I've known about it in theory since the MOTU update, but it's gotten in my face after I was playing a cleric after enhancement pass...
Divine Cleansing cleric enhancement says: Leaves a lingering immunity to natural and magical diseases and poisons for 12 seconds per Cleric level.
This is not working. Recently I used it during the Druid's Deep chain. The dryad at the end of Overgrowth cast Creeping Doom, which hit me for poison damage. Then I went into Don't Drink the Water, where I used Divine Cleansing again and the dragon breathed on me for poison damage.
Then, just for kicks, I went into Redfang the Unruled (a level 3 quest) on normal difficulty, used Divine Cleansing, stood in a poison trap, and took poison damage.
Devs, if you're not going to let us have poison immunity, how about at least letting us get a new option on Resist Energy for 10-30 poison resistance? I mean, if poison is treated as a type of elemental damage, it should have elemental resists. You could even sell a 6th type of airship shrine for it.
Nitpickers: I'm aware that, in theory, there's such a thing as supernatural poison and that Divine Cleansing might be WAI. But if a dryad (natural) casting a spell (magical) is typed as supernatural, I think the dryad is not WAI. And if a level 3 trap is shooting supernatural poison, I'd like to know who the hell ISN'T using supernatural poison.
