In DDO, getting stoned doesn't always mean what you might think it means.
-> Sometimes it means this
You mention in your article, bonus xp weekends count.
I'm pretty sure this is false.
Paying money to not have to play content that you paid money to be able to run is a good thing?
You at least mentioned that they're rather pricey, but no mention that there are differing views on them?
That said, it was an interesting (if short) read.
@fTdOmen: article edited
@Archangel: please feel encouraged to contribute a lengthy rebuttal in the comments Or if you'd rather, you can post an opposing article right on DDOGamer. Seriously. And I don't edit contributions, you can say what you believe.
The main thing stopping me from doing just that is apathy.
I honestly just don't care enough about the game anymore to put in that kind of effort. The only reason I'm still playing at all is:
1: My duo partner.
2: My Guild. I may be a miserable bugger but my Guildies are great people.
3: Sheer bloody-minded stubbornness. I've invested quite a lot into the game over the years, time, money, energy, and attachment to my characters.
4: It's still kinda fun, for the most part. When I'm not running into bugs, stupid design decisions, and Spend Money reminders, I still have fun for the most part.
But quite frankly, if anything happened to one and two, three and four aren't really enough for me to keep playing.
My comment was intended more as a reminder that including differing view points can't hurt.
