    Default Proposal: a new weapons prefix / suffix.

    I propose that the Devs consider the Mobbane prefix for the next release.

    I mean, if new players are turned off with the difficulty of killing incorporeal and undead mobs, what’ll happen when they meet mobs that have DR? Or are immune to specific weapons effects? Or require True Seeing in order to do damage? Well a Mobbane weapon can solve all of that:

    1) It bypasses all damage reduction.
    2) It bypasses any and all immunities.
    3) It bypasses incorporeal, blur/ displacement effects.
    4) It renders a mob immobile every time it hits.
    5) It gives them a +200 PRR to reduce incoming damage.
    6) It gives players sneak attack damage even on mobs that are immune to sneak attacks.
    7) It provides sneak attack damage to non-rogues.
    8) On a critical hit it outright kills the mob.
    9) On a roll of 10 – 20 it will also outright kill the mob.
    10) Enemy casters will self-disintegrate within 20 ft. of the weapon.
    11) Beholders lose their anti-magic and disintegrate abilities when one person in the group possesses an Uberbane weapon.
    12) Have it do damage on a miss.

    Most importantly, it needs to drop on every other weapon from random lootgen, along with a red augment slot. This way, we’ll never have new players get discouraged again over the complexities of combat in DDO.

    I see this as a win-win all around.

    OOH! Don't forget that it should be able to disarm any trap and see/unlock any door or chest!

    You cant just give the sword of a thousand truths to a NOOB!!!!

    Oh and...

    13) It solves all puzzles, swims the crucible, and does the quest for you when youre afk longer than 60 seconds.

    sadly, that would sell like hotcakes. Sometimes I think people have forgotten how to have fun actually playing a game. Sad turts.

    Ugh, you have to actually do the quest?

    I'd rather it just give you (Level)*1000 XP every minute you're logged in.

    Yeah, I run all the undead content now that I used to skip, thanks to Ghostbane!

    - It has drastically reduced the absurd number of undead in those quests.

    - It has stopped the constant Dispel of my Death Ward that was always followed by lots of Negative Levels and Stat damage.

    - Suddenly all the Incorporeal things have stopped phasing constantly too!

    Let's add one more.

    Epic Wannabe Flaming Weapon of Total Fail


    1) Raises imagined epeen by 200%
    2) It glows so everyone knows how awesome you are, 'cuz SHINY.
    3) It says, "OMFG, no wai!" Every time you run an EE.
    4) It moans in a good way when you solo an EE and post about it.
    5) It has a .000000000000001% chance of dropping so you know it's good.
    6) It increases your stats by +1 so you can B**** about it on the forums.
    7) Only two people on each server will be able to loot one, 'cuz RARE is RARE.
    8) When you equip it and zone angels sing and light shines out your rear.


    ML 28, only chance to get is after farming EE's 1,000,000 times to prove your worth.

    I'm just going with the flow. Eventually someone is going to get in a snit that they have a problem with stuff like mob DR. Just thought DDO should get out in front of the issue.

    Can't allow any of that "challenge" stuff discouraging new players, now can we?

    Next up: Nerfage of any and all ice flensers, beholders, doomspheres, instakill/neg level spells.


    Oh. And tempest spine. Is it just me, or do those giants have silly fort saves? Running in with 39 DC stun with imp sunder, I eventually gave up on trying to stun them... in a level 10 quest.
    So include +25 to all tactics on your prefix/suffix. Mildly redundant with 100% immobile, but lets be fair - they need to feel like they're doing something.
