Not sure where to start really, i am already playing with it and after re rolling 10 or so times i think i am quite happy, still a few tweaks to be made when LR comes what is so different about LR'ing the new races compared to the old i don't know..
15 Ranger for 4 favoured enemies, all the TWF feats, basic self healing, FOM, passable use of bows as well as the melee and Dexterity to hit and damage enhancements.
4 Fighter instead of 1 for 2 more feats and access to weapon spec and most of the kensai enhancement tree
1 Rogue taken for UMD, sneak attack die, starting boost to skill points and because i had to
Shadar-Kai for +2 Dexterity, chain attack may be nice to sure how well it will work at high level also nice to have an AOE attack and i didn't have to grind through 1-15 with no gear.
12 STR plus a +1 Tome for Power attack
8 WIZ - +6 Item so i can cast spells
When LR comes i will use a +3 tome for STR and move those stats into INT to boost kill point pool a bit.
I'm not going into skill points as it seems exceptionally long winded and much of it is personal choice. UMD and balance and spot are maxed iirc, not much skill points to go round becasue of INT fail.
Will saves are an abortion, Fortitude not so bad reflex is OK. Soloing the dreaming dark chain without much issue at Level 16, not sure if that's good or not this is my first melee. I know i am badly geared and that makes a huge difference but this seems like it's doing OK.
Enhancements to taste and i change them daily.
6 spring attack
9 weaon focus piercing
12 Magical training - swap for improved critical
14 FF power attack
15 power critical
17 FF WF Slashing
19 FF WS Slashing
26 ED Perfect TWF
Tempted to use 2 feat slots for Dragon marks, all this walking around is a PITA.
15 evil outsider
I was hoping the DDO vets could help with Feat suggestions/swaps and ways to improve the character. Did quite a bit of research and the old 18/1/1 seemed like a solid build but not enough feats for me and with the new enhancements seemed a shame to ignore them for the sake of a couple of spell slots and 1 favoured enemy. I know i lose the 5% double strike from Tempest Core too but there are plenty of items that do that and i still think i am gaining more than i am losing.
Thanks in advance, please be constructive. If i have made a gigantic arse of it tell me a way to improve it
