    Default getting in line to connect - problem

    Hi,
    i can´t log into the game any more
    after i choosed the server it shows "getting in line to connect" .. and than "Failed to queue for server (0x80004005)"

    Maybe not connected but funny coincident:
    I made a ticket ingame on sunday - that one was not answered but closed by a gm
    Yesterday i opened another ticket asking "why was that closed , and why is problem still there"

    While i waited on a reply the game shut itself down with a rather strange message like "your account need email varification" or so - i just got a glimps on that sign.
    Ever since that game shutdown i can´t log in , i did not receive an e-mail.

    Ah maybe connected as well:
    The problem i reported: When i wanted to tr with a druid heart and went to kruz he used up the free heart we got with the new enhancement. Since i wanted to tr and not lr i opened a ticket.

    Any ideas what i should do now?

    I have the same problem as the OP, just started tonight, I sent my ticket in as well

    I get this problem once or twice a week, but it never lasts. A couple client restarts and it eventually connects. Have you tried again?

    i submitted a ticket beginning of this week.
    Up until now i only got the automated replies.#24001-512853

    I still can´t log on a server, and still get the same messages.
    and did most of what came to mind
    like restart router, run windows as a "clean version" or flushdns ..
    Nothing solves the problem ..

    And the support seems to be very busy atm

    @jalont - i tried like 1000times .. kidding more like 60-80 times ..

    btw.
    i can create a new account and log on any server ..
    So this is most likely a problem at ddo-end.

    I do not want to loose all my stuff and all the time i spend on that account(this one).

    nothing changed.. i still can´t log on any server with this account..

    Did I get banned for opening that 2nd ingame Ticket?

    @ SpectreVortex Does the ticket # help?

    First:
    The problem is NOT solved! (How could it - it´s weekend )
    I still can´t get on any server using my main account.
    And i did NOT receive any help at all - till now..

    Second:
    Since i can only log on with my brand new account , i might as well share the feeling of a "fresh ddo player".
    Even thou i can´t use any unlocked class/race/whatever .. The amount of choices are wonderfull.
    Since i´m not rly a "first timer" i can create some awsome bulds.

    I layed down my basic plan and jumped into the game - korthos lvl1 .. not even a champion ..
    I rushed through lvls 1-4 very easy ..
    Not many , or rather none lfm up for my lvl on the server Sarlona
    I´m missing my guild ship , but refuse to enter guild due to xp decrease.

    After that i start noticing my missing greater tome , and much more important - the ability to open stuff on elite.

    I instandly was reminded of the good and old tr grind (without those exp fluff) .. but i rly missed the +exp - even as a non tr.

    At around lvl 8 i started to wonder - where shall i get my next exp thing from .. why does it take so long ;-)
    And it hit me .. all those adventure packs i purchased are gone ..

    Atm i´m around lvl 11-12 .. missing my gs gear and of course FREE QUESTS.
    Normaly i would stroll down to sands or gh - but i refuse to by all those adventures again ..

    So i ended up - quite frustrated .. with some tp to buy ? and no real way to reach lvl 20+

    So this is the feeling a "first timer" gets ?
    Wrong way turbin .. wrong way

    Just my 5 cent ..

    You can get to level 8 without noticing any problems and level 11/12 before missing gear on a F2P account? No offence but that sound pretty fair to me. If you can get that far without paying for anything you know if you like the game or not and $10 a month to unlock all the quests you need to get to level 20 (or spending $20 for some TP to unlock some quests) seams pretty fair. The game needs to be paid for somehow.

    Of course, that being said, the fact that your real account (the one you did pay for) not being usable for several days is pretty crappy and says something about tech support. You have my sympathy.

    First:
    i didn´t rly expect anything - since it is patch day ..
    After all the downloading and so on,,
    I still can´t log on to any server
    (with my main account - i can with my new one)


    Second:
    Yeah Hazelnut - you got a good point.
    And atm i farme tp on other serves so i could get the vale pack soon.
    Than i might tr or so on each server .. and after a while i´ll be at the point where i can rly enjoy ddo - and that totaly ftp!

    What you should not forget - i do know the quest inside out .. my main char on that closed account is just 2tr away from completionist.
    I do know how to get TP with a fresh account and it is not so much time intensive to farm "servers for vale" ..

    But i remember back when i started .. when i did this when ddo came "ftp"..
    And - i have to say .. now and than ..
    The idea of FTP is not satisfied with ddo.

    I do love the game from my heart (that´s why heart is broken atm) ..
    But i also feel that "ftp" should mean something else :-)

    I mearly spend 1000€ over ther last 3-4 years on my main account .. having fun and not regretting ..

    Another day went by.
    Actually i can´t complain, since your lag of support kept me from using bonus-tp-days.

    But still ..
    I am longing for some kind of human response ..
    Even a "sry your doomed" would help me

    But saying nothing at all ..
    Sucks

    Sry that i´m not in control of my expectationa ,., .. a game addict needs help

    The same problem just occures again.
    I was able to play after u20 hit..
    Today i´m again stuck with "getting in line to connect"

    since i don´t think turbin solved my ticket in ?30 min? - i guess the problem fanished ;-)

    Here it is over a year later and the same problem is out there. I just got the same message for the first time that I can remember. I try to login to Khyber and the Turbine client says "Getting in line to connect..." and stays there. then a dialogue box titled "Failed to launch client." The message in the box says "Failed to queue for server (0x80004005)". A dozen tries, including other servers, and same result.

    I looked around a bit more and this problem is listed on Launcher Errors page for Turbine support. They suggested restarting the router and flushing the DNS. I did both. No luck.

    Same here. pulled the support page and tried the suggested "fixes". Nothing.

    This may not work in all cases, but I thought I'd offer.

    I was getting this same problem last night, trying to launch the game with the official launcher. However, I also have the DDO-ML launcher on my computer (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...DDO-launcher); I decided to try that instead and the game started up fine. Maybe it bypasses whatever process in the official launcher causes the hangup? I don't know why, but it worked.
