    Default Cleric or Fvs

so i am a cleric i like the class, and i like radiant servant. i was thinking a bout TRing a FvS maybe do a FvS18/monk2. other then the obvious differences nearly double the SP, Leap of Faith and hiving a limited # of spells why might i want to go FvS over cleric or what are the benifits with FvS that Cleric does not get. i was also wondering how effective is the Summon Archon spell.

FVS is nice with natural wings, but if you want to splash 2 monk, Id definitely go cleric. Having to wait longer for spells and having to choose between mass heal and implosion (only 1 lvl 9 spell with 18 fvs levels) is a big pain. Especially with the new divine disciple enhancements, I think that cleric is better right now.

Since I go 2 monk, I can only recommend cleric/monk, but if you want to go pure, you should get more opinions. I will run fvs/monk again for fvs past lives, but not having either mass heal or implosion is a big handicap imho.

If you go pure, FVS is nice, though.

    Pure FVS pros:
    -lots of SP
-DR capstone (well, you can get DR from gear now with ghost-walking cloak)
    -save reducing aura
    -wings without exalted angel
    -better saves/energy resistance

    Cleric pros
-divine disciple+radiant servant (SLAs, DCs, cheap healing)
-earlier and more spell slots, easier to splash monk
