On the exploit, yes. I wish they'd fix it too.
Heroic levels aren't that thrilling, but they're more interesting (and about the same speed) without some fool energy bursting every red name which might bring mild entertainment.
The use of twists doesn't make quests any less challenging - only faster. So those who use them probably care only about xp/min not challenge.
If you don't care about xp/min, you should not window farm too - always amusing when people window farming delera pt2/4, shadow crypt, etc. complain about use of twists in these quests. Heck, you shouldn't even farm any good xp/min quests in a group of TRs in the first place.
Seriously, when you TR what is the first message that pops over your screen?
"You have 18 Fate of Points to spend"...

First - it's not "cheating" if the game allows it. Submit a bug report and move on. The devs will either fix it or leave it as is.
Second, I really have a distaste for the people who sit there and say "heroic levels? Pffth!"
What happens is that then people whine about heroic levels being too easy, then they get "fixed" for more challenge, and then we get Ghostbane weapons because undead are driving new players away in droves because they are "too difficult."
I think many of the people who scoff at heroic levels usually don't run them because without a toon that has multiple lives on it, they couldn't handle the challenge with having limited options. Some people wouldn't know how to play a wizzy without Wail of the Banshee, hence the reason we have to hear about EE being too hard.
I personally consider this to be one of the three key problems with the game and population right now.
1. Heroic levels trivialised by the ED bug
2. Lack of genuine reason to do most raids and most epic quests, linked to new named loot system (compared with old one) and level expansion
3. No raid at level cap
I hate the bug but I hate the offensive name thing more
The ANTI-Realms FANBOI NUKE THE REALMS ITS THE ONLY REAL WAY TO BE SURE
To each their own though I suppose. I'm not reporting anyone for using them and will just await an eventual patch.
Having said that, it's not great for the game.
New players can't solo at the same speed as they can progress through content via a group; nor can they opt in to using twists to join in the fun. It can't be very enjoyable to be forced into watching others use them.
Next up, blanket ban on instakill, AoE CC, firewall, acid rain, fireball, acid ball and anything similar. They make it too easy. Seeming I don't use the bug and I laugh at heroic, nerf me. My wis based wizard is OP!
Any new player who complains about undead has me worried. They aren't hard. Unless they were mega-nerfed over a year ago, they were never hard.
Based on how you have been expressing your opinion, am I correct in saying you dislike those who go against the rules and report them? You should consider that posting about exploits on the forums is against forum policy. Thus you should start by reporting yourself. Along with the rest of us. Because this entire thread is against forum policy.

Heh I love how people complain this game is too easy but any time I post a less than optimized build in the favor of some RP they go ballistic.
As for the cheating, don't do it but if you see others doing it try informing them that its not WAI before assuming their doing it maliciously.

If you call that cheating then mobs are also cheating when you stun then and they slide.
