Hmmmm Point Blank Shot isn't a Martial Art Feat. I think you have to change it for lvl 1 Dodge.

you can try to delay ranger or monk but the best I could do is get to fighter 8 one or two levels earlier and just not worth it, for me. maybe someone else that has more experience with the build planner and getting feats to tie together can find a way and I would love to see it. but really think this is a level 20+ build or one you LR into if you still have the +20 LR heart they gave us.
I have a Halfling rapier/shortsword version of this build, and it's hard to get 8 levels of fighter before 20...

Like the poster above said, you need 6 ranger first for ITWF, and you want a few levels of monk or what's the point of being centered? 18 is the very minimum you can do it.

Yup. This build was made with a focus on epic levels. Heroic XP is trivial imho. On another note I've worked out a new feat progression for the build that nets IC:Ranged at the cost of deflect arrows. I'm still debating on whether or not to LR into that version though as I see deflect proc quite often.

Hey thanks for pointing that out. I fixed it in the main post.

My guildee linked this post and asked, hey would this be a good build for me? I told him damn, that's funny that you ask because this is essentially the exact same build I'm going to do after my current life which will make me completionist. Only variant is i'll be axe specked with A dance of flowers manditory. So ya, i'd say it's a pretty freaking good build lol.

Yeah F8/M6/R6 is pretty much pure win. F12/M6/P2 is another way to go for pure win with THF instead of TWF. Game is pretty polluted with these FOTPN (Flavor of the Pre Nerf) builds at this point.

    Default Fun build

I just got this guy to L23 and he is really fun to play. It is definitely true the build doesn't really start to shine until level 20 when all feats and enhancements are there plus you become centered.

I wonder what I could swap for the Convalescent bracers of parrying for 20% Hamp since they are really tough to come by now?

    Nice fun build!

Glad you are liking the build.

Hmm I think the old levik's bracers also have 20% heal amp ... but good luck getting that old raid running. Other than that forget about that 20% amp and slot something else ...

I hope that you are still replying to this thread. I followed the build and really like it a lot.

Some gear questions. I have not yet pulled the Black helm that I want, so I have not yet made a flawless robe. In the mean time, I am using the Sun Soul set from the Villager's . It works ok but I hate that stupid purple bell that goes off on a crit and blinds me.

Anyway, what is a good order to kick up the Pinion and Mornh? Just did first upgrade on hammer, but am hoarding coms until I get a good order. Also, the new Thunder forged hammers look to be worth the time to craft. I was never able to get the Drow hammer to drop and have not found one yet but have the ring that makes up for it.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

looks like this thread has been lying dormant for a while. curious if anyone that was playing it is still using it after the recent updates.

one of the bigger changes I see in the updates that could impact this build would be that overwhelming crit no longer requires the cleave feats. would you still want those in there with a TWF build? or replace them with something else? and if so, what feats would you select instead?

You might want to have a look at Santa's Little Slayer: same class split, but DEX-based elf using rapiers and with Dragonmark.

The problem with these builds (if you want to call it that) is Dance of Death is really nice, but you can't take both it and Keen Edge. Plus with Holy Sword being so nice, FotM DPS builds have swung over to mostly-pally, as bizarre as that sounds to DDO vets.

thank you and, at the same time, darn you unbongwah

I thought I was all set to TR into a dwarf and use this build as a template. I found a drow warhammer, saved my web boxes to be able to get morhn and pinion, along with a few other high level items that go along with this build. and then you have to show me Santa's Little Slayer build.

I may still go this route as he is part of a static group that will include a variety of classes but usually at least one that can keep the party on its feet with heals, etc. so I can go with more of a flavor build and the thought of a TWF dwarf with hammers knocking out everything has a certain appeal. if this was going to be one of my more solo oriented characters, Santa looks really good with the dragon marks to substantially reduce damage.

so, assuming I do want to go with a dwarf warhammer build, any suggestions on feat changes. using the Santa build for comparison, I am thinking of dropping PA and the two cleaves and maybe look at improved precise shot, improved crit ranged and precision. may consider 10k stars but this is intended to be more of a front line character in our static group. will already have 2 or 3 hanging back playing ranged spell casters, archer types.
