Default Ronin: Centered Khopesh build with Manyshot Burst DPS.

    Ronin

2 changes in the enhancement system prompted me to come up with this build… Monks stances becoming feats and Kensai allowing that monk to be centered with non monk weapons.

this combination could produce, what I would consider, a samurai warrior. Deadly hand to hand combat with the ability to range a target when needed.

Of course, my Samurai would answer to no one. Combine that with my love of Robert De Niro Movies and Car chases, the name Ronin seems to apply.

My prefered direction for this build will be hand to hand focus with a ranged fallback. WIth a couple minor changes, this build can follow a path closer to the Moncher and take advantage of both Manyshot and 10k Stars. I will go over my concept on that in the following post.

Build will not include Epic Destinies. Fury of the wild or Grandmaster of Flowers both have significant synergy with the build though.

    Code:
Character Plan by DDO Character Planner Version 03.16.01
    DDO Character Planner Home Page

Level 25 Lawful Neutral Human Male
    (12 Fighter \ 4 Monk \ 4 Ranger \ 5 Epic)

Hit points, Saves, and Spell points.
This is an advanced build where we will see large variances in these numbers depending on gear and destinies. I dont feel its critical to detail these things out.

          Ability Scores
36 Point and Assuming all +3 Tomes
Strength 18 All Level ups here
Dexterity 14 Ranger 2 grants TWF regardless of base score and +3 tomes gets us to GTWF
    Constitution 14
Intelligence 9 SInce I Had a +3 tome, will have a 12 at level 11 for skill points
    Wisdom 14
Charisma 9 again,+3 tome evens us out later in build

     Skills

Concentration is critical and should be maxed. I always recommend UMD as well and this build has plenty of points to max that. I was also able to throw a few points in Jump and Balance

I'm in the process of getting tokens to TR one of my mains into something just like this, but I am wondering why you took 4 Ranger/4 Monk instead of 6 Ranger/2 Monk? You would get Manyshot/ITWF which saves you two feats.

Tokun PDK 12 Monk/4 Paladin/4 Fighter (3x Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue/2x Bard, Barbarian PL)
Tekllin Human 20 Sorc (3x Sorc, Wiz PL)
Jadokis Purple Dragon Knight 18 Barbarian/1 Favored Soul/1 Fighter (3x Bard, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Rogue/2x Favored Soul/Heroic and Epic Completionist)

I went back and forth a bit on the split

3 monk obviously gets us a Path which opens up a lot of special attacks. Since the focus of the build was to be centered, I felt having access to "fists" of light and buffs like grasp of the earth dragon was well worth it.

at that point, 4/4 makes more sense than 5/3 as 5 ranger only gives us a second fav enemy, and 4 monk gets us +1 Saves.

in the end, I'm not sure what I would even do with the 2 extra feats. the build isnt starved for feats at all.. I'm not even positive what I'll take at 27 right now.

Did you take GWF and I missed it? Because that's necessary for the key T5 Kensei abilities, inc. One w/Blade.

whoops... I thought it just needed Greater Specialization.. GWF is actually a tier 4 req now that I look again... SO stupid that Kensia has so many feat Reqs and no other lines do.

Looks like I can swap Specialization at level 17 for Focus.

And then we dont actually need Specialization anywhere I guess... Can pop that back in at 27

Ah alright. I haven't even begun to plan my out yet, I just did the gear and level split that I want to go for. And you would lose the third core of Tempest, but not sure what that is.

3rd core of tempest is dex modifier to damage with light weapons.. Useless on the build anyway.
