    Default Its getting kinda blatant

The exploit where low level characters can use 20+ lvl abilities is being used to such great extent now that i havent joined a single pug where someone wasnt using it...

On the bright side, theres more pugs than ever because a lot of the people exploiting this want to show off, but a new person coming to the game would be seriously put off by it id think.

Funny thing is the people ive seen using the exploit keep dying because they are trying to show off so much they get overwhelmed despite being able to oneshot everything 90% of the time.

Funny, but a bit ridiculous, these are lvl 6-12 groups ive been pugging.

Been that way for a while now. Reported it a few times (not specific people, but increased level of obvious usage).
Advocating repeated nerfs in the name of "balancing the game" then complaining about how DDO is moving away from D&D, is a direct contradiction in logic - D&D 3.5 (what DDO is based on) is not a balanced game. We can either have a balanced clone MMO with homogenized classes, or we can have a D&D game. We cant have both.

Well how to do it was on ddowiki for a while, which made it seem to not be an exploit and increased the awareness of it. Honestly even now because of it, I'm not 100% certain to call it an exploit.

Well the last exploit they explicitly said was not an exploit and then they fixed it. I would not expect any consistency from Turbine

actually surprised its gone on this long. usually player advantages like this are fixed right away, but I know a couple exploits that took a long time to be fixed so its up in the air what Turbine is thinking and possibly will do.

I first saw it not too long after motu came out, but not a big deal, guy at least tried to be discreet. Theres no fight club on this one anymore, you cant play the game without seeing it seriously abused if you know what to look for.

Devs probably figure it's too much effort to fix something that will become obsolete once U20 revamps TRing, anyway.

So, have you reported it yet?

I know it's a bug but it's really how it should be. I spent a lot of time on my TRs and EDs. While I understand that TRing will reset everything back to level 1, EDs aren't levels. Has my destiny changed? No. So my twists should be fully utilizable during my leveling. I would go as far as saying my EDs should be fully utilizable but I'm willing to make a compromise.

So what if it kills some fun for newbies. The people that want to run with newbies will take the time to show them the game and probably wouldn't use the twists unless necessary to save a wipe. Everyone else is focused on TRing and has no time to show newbies the game. Fast leveling is the focus since the devs made such a horrible system. There's no time to show newbies the ropes.

Finally, once again, my or others playstyles shouldn't affect yours or your fun. Don't like running with people that use twists then don't run with them. Don't like groups that are BYOH? Don't join those groups. No one should try to force their idea of the game or fun on others.

    That's probably it.

My guess is we'll get our EDs blanks out on TRing and get XP stones to re-use as compensation for the EDs. 1.5 million per ED or something.

This is just silly. The easiest way to put it is like this: It's important that I'm better than you. You getting an advantage over me by using something that I cannot because it's obviously against the rules and I'm not willing to break the rules for a variety of reasons is not fair. This should be corrected so that we are both on a level playing field where we both have to follow the rules and I can be better than you again.

People really are getting pretty shameless about it. I end up having to ask people not to use the stuff on me, at least to the extent that the mass-affecting ones can be avoided.

I actually tried to ask one of the community reps about this but didn't get a reply. Maybe busy, or maybe not allowed to talk about it.

Some acknowledement of the issue would be nice.

I'll admit, I don't care about the issue too much either way in general, but what really annoys me is when I'm in a group with people who are complaining about how easy the game is using the exploit. X_X Seriously? They MADE a choice to use it, it doesn't just happen and randomly fire off, and then they're complaining it's too easy. *bangs head on desk*
