Reporting non-quest LFMs will not increase the amount of "good" LFMs. Use the scroll bar on the panel.

since the only server wide billboard is the lfm panel ...and people have asked for a real billboard for years..repurposing the existing one for socialy interactive purposes (trades/guilds) seems fine.....

If I were a cop I'd enforce keeping right and turn signals more than I'd enforce non-wreckless driving and obeying the speed limit.

Oh wait that was a bit off topic...

First of all, you can argue all you want, this is Turbine's game, so you have to follow Turbine's rules.

You can post buy/sell/trade messages on the appropriate server Marketplace threads found under the Servers sub-forum. You can also join one of the user created chat channels to trade; check with your local server-mates for the popular trade channels. Of course, you can use the Auction House to actively seek nifty loot, or sell that prized Tasty Ham you might still have in your backpack.

GMs will ask you to remove LFG and LFM messages not consistent with their intended use, and continued misuse of the LFG and LFM areas will be considered violations of the Code of Conduct.

    Thank you everyone!

If tens of players start using the LFM for trading and guild recruitement (if you want to allow one, why not allow others?) the LFM loses it's purpose which is to help players find groups to play with.

    Everything has it's place:
    - The AH, Trade channel and forums for trading
    - General channel and forums for guild recruitement

If you mix everything it just makes a big useless mess.

You don't have to open a Ticket to get rid of a LFM, just send a tell to the player reminding them of the rules with a link to the above Turbine message. It works for me. Don't be blunt about it and you have a 90% success rate.
