    Default Cursed Items... Why?????

Why put the word "cursed" in their description? Cursed items should be well disguised and when you step into a dungeon - whammo!

Not this namby pamby stuff that's out there now.

Don't Feather the curse, Hide it, disguise it, make it hurt. and make it hard to get rid of.

I agree that actual "Cursed" items should be a mystery, but the so-called cursed items we're seeing now are actually pretty nice. A decent response to the removal of RRs.

As much as I like the concept of cursed items being annoying to rid yourself of, Turbine would probably find a way to make it annoying unless you used the DDO Store.

I bet it was because I suggested it. Yeah, whatever, get mad bro, idc.
Here's a riddle for you: What do you call people who play the game for only a day and apparently know everything?

I think that the curse should be a mystery until you put it on, but the item should be clearly labeled as 'cursed'. It would give the player that feeling that one gets when drinking a potion of wonder~

The Demons Consorts Bracers are a good template for a cursed item. They look super sweet at first glance, but only pale masters wear them for a specific reason. Similar hidden effects on random gen gear could be interesting. Might make the AH a bit of a minefield if people knowingly pawned off cursed items at high prices.

invisible curse cursed items like what you guys are talking about are great in pnp and horrible mmo design. This is really the only decent way for them to be in the game at all.
