But what works for EE works just as well for EN EH, etc.

It works equally well on any difficultly!
It is the fatal flaw of an "active" combat system. Movement can mitigate, and nullify 90% of the damage in this game. It is true on any difficulty, on any map. I've run around in big circles jumping on Demon Queen to dodge a deamon, and 12 archers, not taking a single hit for MINUTES at a time.
You don't need anything but HP for the 'bad luck', self healing, for the 'bad luck', and a way of causing damage. MOST of the time it is spell damage that rules, but with a few tricks here and there, you can "stand still" to deal some out for a second or two, before resuming jumping around in a circle... Like and idiot.
NOTHING says, I'm an EPIC character like running in huge loops jumping everywhere to avoid arrows and spells, and avoiding all melee till you have incorp, and displacement cast properly.
