    Default Monday is a bank holiday in UK...

    ... and we brits would very much appreciate not having a patch on Monday.

    It'll be a hotfix, pretty sure there are some exploits still loose.

    They don't accommodate bank holidays over here, if you expect them to consider British ones, I'd say, prepare to be disappointed.

    I would be happy to have downtime during a US bank holiday if we can have as many bank holidays you have in the UK.

    I'm not sure the person you quoted realizes that because in the US we don't call them bank holidays.

    (or if anyone noticed that the following Monday is a US holiday, perfect time for the next hotfix/patch.)

    The US calls them public holidays, but it is still only a very small minority which get 11 of them.

    It's actually only six for most people.

    * New Year's Day
    * Memorial Day
    * Independence Day
    * Labor Day
    * Thanksgiving Day
    * Christmas Day

    It's up to individual companies to observe any (or all) of the remaining five:

    * Dr. Martin Luther King Day is observed with a day off for government employees. Many other employers don't necessarily follow suit and according to a survey from the Bloomberg Bureau of National Affairs only about
    * Inauguration Day Observed only by federal government employees in Washington, D.C., and the border counties of Maryland and Virginia unless it falls on a Saturday.
    * Presidents' Day too is only a mandatory day off for federal employees.
    * Columbus Day is only commemorated by federal and state offices, the US postal service and (in many states) public schools.
    * Veterans Day similarly is only a day off for government employees.

    Trust me, the lack of time people have off in the US is particularly obvious if you come from a country like me where most get 22+ days of vacation, unlimited sick time and 13 paid public (bank) holidays.
    Characters on Sarlona: Ungnad (Morninglord, Wizard 17 / Favored Soul 2 / Fighter 1) -- Baerktghar (Dwarf, Paladin 18 / Fighter 2) -- Simulacruhm (Bladeforged, Artificer 16 / Paladin 3 / Wizard 1)

    No matter what side of the argument you are on, you always find people on your side that you wish were on the other.

    Yeah, I fully expect they will, but at least they can't say they didn't know. And who knows, maybe the peeps at Turbine will decide to be nice.

    But if they DO vote to leave, doesn't that mean we can drive across the border and buy whisky duty-paid at what is sure to be a much lower rate? This could work out.

    If you didn't have so many Bank holidays on weekdays this wouldn't happen.

    Count the Irish into this as well. It's not often us and the Brits agree :P

    (That was a joke, don't even think about taking offense, seriously, just stop that line of thought. Right now. Just don't.)
