Default The New Deathblock and Undead Forms - A question to the community/Devs.

Looking at the revamped Deathblock effects, I noticed that you would now gain negative energy absorption. The question is -

Would Negative Energy Absorption be treated as Healing Amplification for those in Undead Forms.

I.E. Would a Deathblock effect of +20% be treated as Healing Amp 20?

In that same Vein, seeing as Knights of the Chalice ALSO get some Negative Energy Absorption via Vigor of Life, would it be possible to create an undead knight who receives increased self-healing from negative energy spells?

Not sure if Negative Energy Absorption from the new Deathblock effects stack or not, but if it does, and if it stacks with the Knight of the Chalice, it would make for some rather interesting builds...

Not sure how it actually goes, but it would seem to me that you would benefit LESS, not more.

Negative energy absorption prior to U19 was a bad thing for palemasters as it would reduce the healing they received from their aura.

Since palemasters are immune to death spells I will make sure I don't have it slotted with these changes.

Interesting, I'd always thought that absorption would have increased one's healing in undead forms... Wish Lamannia was still open so I could have tested a theory I've got going.

    Default absorbtion

The item itself absorbs x% of neg dmg character would otherwise be subject to, therefore you take 100-x% of the negative "damage" so would heal less if undead or get hurt less if living.

having never played a wizard, do negative energy attacks from monster enemies heal palemaster player characters? or does enemy AI automatically recognize that the player character is in undead form, and they attack via other methods?

likewise, can you attack an enemy undead with a negative energy attack (like harm or inflict critical), and that will end up healing the enemy? or are they just immune? Wiki said that it heals. I remember in taming the flames, someone warned me that flaming weapons would heal the elementals, but then someone else later told me that they are just immune to flaming weapons, and that there are no attacks that can inadvertently heal enemies.
