Thank you and the Turbine team for the fix for Mac. I'm sure all of us are a lot less frustrated now.

    Default A much better solution

If I might make a suggestion to Turbine it would be this: Set aside a small team of developers to completely re-write the coding. Update it all, and use a better indexing system to separate each individual dungeon's code and the main coding for individual weapons and what not. Once the game is re-written, bring down the servers for a day or two, maybe even a week if necessary, and bring the revamped game online. I have spoken to many players on my server, Sarlona, about this and each one of them has given me positive feedback. One even said that they would wait a month if it meant a smoother, less bugged game experience. Sure this would take a while *understatement alert* but it would be well worth it. One last thing. If the servers were brought down for an extended period of time, you should send a free Game-Time code, specifically for the duration of the downtime, to make up for the time/money lost to your paying customers.

    Just a thought...
I have a much better solution. How about you actually just test out the game on a mac before releasing it. You know, maybe just open it up and see if it runs. Like at least once. I mean really, it's not rocket science here. This is a commercial service we are paying for. Is it too much to ask that you pay one peon to test your commercial product before releasing it to the public? Customers are NOT your play-testers, we are your bread and butter. Turbine has possibly the very worst customer service of any company I have come across. I just wish their game wasn't so damn good! Anyhow, looks like I'm playing Skyrim on my day off not DDO. Maybe I'll come back to DDO sometime, or maybe I'll just decide that console games don't have this sort of bull$#!% and are a much more enjoyable use of my time. (Do you hear that Turbine, this is the sound of you losing market share....)

You should visit the Technical Assistance thread, rather than updating this older thread, or call customer service.
