    Default Thank you devs!

Awwww yeah... I'm having a blast with the new enhancement pass. I've spent hours realizing what new builds I can make, and this has renewed my love and excitement for DDO.

Been waiting for this sort of change for a looong while.

    Devs... Thank you!

Minor note - The tier 4 kensai thing that requires greater weapon focus should say Fighter ML8, not ML5. Since greater weapon focus requires FTR8 to obtain as a feat.

Hmmm. Well, bugs and glitches are to be expected. But daaaaaayuuum. I'm loving my new Arcane Tempest and I could finally effectively build my Ninja Acrobat. :3

i can't find anything to complain about with the new enhancement system, still things to figure out such as where the grandmaster for airstance is for monks, or just getting through 1/2 elf glitches when taking arcane archer. but, overall i like what i see and hope they start adding more paths/trees, perhaps even special ones for race completionists/iconic/regular competionists etc....

Hey, and they could finally add more PrE's! I'd love to see Dragon Monks and Eldeen Rangers.

As an individual playing only one char, i'm really glad that I capped my sorc before the pass happened. That being said, I really think it opened the creativity factor to a whole new kind of players. New builds (some seems way too powerful to be honest), new ideas, new possibilities... and those being much more easely to see, all good for the game and even more for the casuals.

My only complaint is that it killed alot of pure build and that now, all the great options are deep multiclassing that will shine only in Epic levels with specific destinies. I didn't take as much time to look into this: I think it's still possible to make heroic only powerhouses, but the choices are much more limited. I might be wrong.

But sure, i'd love to try a 16 wiz/sorc, 2 fvs, 2 monk/pal shiradi (or something close to that) if I was to ever play epic levels again... but that doesn't look as much fun for heroic purposes.

Well... I've been a multiclasser since the PnP days, but I do have one or two pure builds, and with the new Enhancements, even a pure build can be badass. I have my tempest ranger that can summon arrows and imbue them, aside from being a two weapon fighter. In theory, this would require multiclassing in the old days, or at least using other classes or races PrE (like elven AA or getting Fighter Stalwart). But now a pure build is way more customizable and flexible. I simply love that. PM's now get a real Skelly pet, like the druids and artis do. Rangers can do mix and match Ranged and Melee a lot easier. Sorcs can now specialize in two elements. Rogues can take acrobat aps like dex dmg and to hit and mix them with crossbow combat.

For new players, it makes the system more fun and they no longer have to spend hours wondering how to build a PrE, and what feats and stuff to take. A lot of people never bothered to play DDO because they couldnt build decent toons because the system was flawed and really hard to comprehend at first.

Now its very easy, and also satisfies the needs of DDO vets like me.

Ok, so it does separate itself even further from traditional 3.5 pnp. But hell, its a videogame, pnp rules dont need to fully apply. As long as the core of pnp is still there, I'm happy. I still have my tabletop if I want to play classic dnd.

The new enhancement system? It's fantastic.

But... they used to be good (maybe not specialized) easely into 3 elements. Even 4 if you didn't bother with savants which I found to be bad at low levels.

Didn't quote the rest but I kinda agree. It's possible that I didn't take enought time to really visualize pure builds since it seems, at first glance, that multiclassing was just that much stronger. But yeah, I think the fact that it's easier to come up with builds (and good builds that is) is just fantastic news. I remember a time where only 5-10% (guessing) of the playerbase had access to both god builds and end game content... that sure was too complicated and unhealthy for the game in general.
