Default Deceived (not a doom post lol, just needs a bit of work from turbine staff)

Sooooooo after playing a bit in the new update, that's the conclusion of how i feel, why?

    Things i expected:
-20% bonus apply the 1st time you run every quest
    - New trash loot
    - Reworked old loot

    What i've found:
    - 20% bonus apply in less than 50% quests (currently at lvl 6, have done all lvl 4 and lower lvl quests on elite)
    - New trash loot is called all the same, have to check EVERY item i loot, and reward, to know if it's deadly 1-2 or deception 1-2 or whatever, could you PLEASE add the value in the name? +1 rapier of deception 2 is easier to understand than +1 rapier of deception, mouse over the item, oh **** is only deception 1
    - Old loot, gonna take as example heroic midnight greetings: have deception (what kind?1?2? old one?) and assassin training(***? 1st AP in core assassin grants proficiency with kukris) in the other hand the ml has been recalculated on items, so looks like only reworked half of the old loot (the easy one, non-nameds)

So turbine, could you work a bit on it? i know most changes have been to make game more new player friendly, what i'm asking is just to complete the work you started

If not, i'll keep being deceived, and yes will survive w/o that changes, but this stuff will confuse new players as you can imagine.
psykopeta is finally baconpletionist because there isn't anything to delay it more - thelanis, where the gimps claim to be pros and noobs claim to be pros, no newbies allowed(unless they claim to be pros), we have enough drama w/o them. PS: I post only in the latest thread shown in main page, in the weird case u want something from me, feel free to send pm

    Default Loot Called ACID PROOF

When in actuality it is not acid proof, it is a mitigator of acid.

I preferred ACID GUARD stuff over retributive. I never used it anyway, but at least I knew it was acid guard. Now, it is just some random acid/water/fire/electric/force/good that damages someone who hits me. But I don't know which type.

CURSED items. Really, what is the point? Instead of calling it CURSED please call it VENDOR TRASH.

I've gotten the 20% first time of the day bonus on every quest I've played through in the past two days. Keep in mind, the 20% doesn't properly show up at the bottom of the exp report, it is applied up near the top where it lists out bravery bonuses. If you aren't seeing it in some quests when you are running them for the first time that day, I'd make sure to screenshot / bug report it to let them know, as that hasn't been my experience yet.

I agree that it is currently tedious to have to hover over every item to be able to find out what tier of the effects it has since the name looks the same as it did pre-update.

Cursed items work to lower the ML of an item. I like the curses on some items when it impacts a stat I don't care about but makes it so I can use it at a lower level while playing through.

I havent looked at the calculations but my understanding is that the cursed part allows for a more powerful item for its level because of the drawback. A little like the new Mastercrafter 1-2 effect that allows more powerful items.

Some people remember playing a game, lets call it Dungeons and Dragons, where you sat around a table with friends and had a good time.

Sometimes while playing you found cursed items and they were far more 'evil' then we find here.

Some people like having fond memories of those days, some like flavor.

Some may have an odd stat where the benefit of the cursed item is good enough to overlook the reduction of that odd stat to an even one.

It's totally true, I have a reliable source. You better reroll now.

Glad you enjoy the cursed items. This morning, before the servers being "hot fixed", there were four other cursed items at the jeweler. You should check there more often as you will probably find more stuff you can use.

Just find a master crafted item and it does the exact same thing.

Every cursed item I found went to the vendor along with other players stuff I saw. I probably sold ten cursed items to the brokers since Monday.

    Way to be snarky :P

I didn't say I actively hunted them down, just that they can serve a purpose. As soon as I have the ability to cause the game to generate a mastercrafted random loot gen item that I want to use, I'll get right on the "just find a master crafted item"
