ToD no longer working with double strike. Is this a bug or WAI?

Your plan has come to fruition, go check live. Also you forgot: comparable PRR to a Pali, Touch of death and most of the strikes working with weapons (coming in an update according to a Dev on Lam forums), ability to take 8 fighter and swing a centered eSoS (or other great critting non monk weapon) while benefiting from all of the above...

Yeah, just not sure how long it will be possible, expect a nerf and a "MY GOD WHAT DID WE DO" in short order.

Come on, it's completely balanced that monks/splashes are the best DPS, the best tanks, the best insta-killers, and the best archers.

I predict an adjustment to the QP DC as that's the latest and greatest thing in a broken-monk's aresenal but all the other OP stuff will stay.

    10 (base) + 10 (monk levels) + 10 (sunder equipment) +5 (exceptional) + 6 (legendary tactics) + 2 (GMoF innates) +25 (wisdom) +2 (epic tactician) =70

    +3 fighter past lives +1 (+6 combat mastery) +3 (+13 sunder item)=77
    + 3 (improved Sunder) = 80

    Probably missing stuff also

I am still a little lost on the changes, but does anyone have a zuber monk/kensai splash? I have an ESos and would like to make good use with the splash build, but as I said I am unsure with this new stuff and I have terrible searchfu.

The direction of this game makes me sad.

Please don't ever accuse DDO of having direction.

I want DDO to be a better game. Those are my personal suggestions on: Ammunition, Archmage, Combat Stances, Deities, Dispel Magic, Epic Destiny Map, Fast Healing, Favor, Favored Enemy, Half-elf Enhancements, Monk Kensai, Monk Stances, Past Life, Potency, Potions, Ranger Spells, Summons, Tiered Loot.

Druid is a p2win class, right?
    Pal is free class though.

    The best splash

irrelevant when listing the powers of a pure monk.

The most melee feats besides fighter

2nd place is not a win

the easiest to multiclass with anything

still irrelevant to a pure monk

the best melee cc (stunning fist)

the trip animation is much more fun to watch

    the fastest attacks

    ok, monks are pretty fast

improved evasion for free which rogues must spend a special feat on

rogues 'should' be punished for not being monks

    multiple melee insta kills

    what, can't everyone do this?

    multiple melee "strikes"

frankly, we generally only have to hit once, besides, monks never "strike", we leave that sort of behaviour to unions...and rogues.

4 stances that all do very powerful things that monks are already good at (attack speed, ki)

hmmm, well surely its no crime to be good at things

    finishers

we're finishers, starters and the main course!

    healing by sitting down anywhere

sitting down is the only thing that stops us running off!

ki regen by sitting down anywhere (don't casters wish they could sit down anywhere and regen mana?)

we don't just regen ki by that, we get it back through skills, gear, ed's, hitting things, being hit...oh, i see your point now

    great saves

even <insert your saviour here> saves!

    huge dps potential

i think we can say monks fulfill that potential.

items that increase their base damage outside of other things that increase their base damage

    ok, so we're quite powerful

    25% dodge easy to obtain

    in fact we're like gods

    25% incorp easy to obtain

mighty, partially-incorporal gods, immune to your puny mortal weapons.

    massive prr from mountain stance

gods as powerful as the mountains themselves, worship us, bwhahahahaha!

Druid is a spell caster, paladin is another martial class like the monk...........and it is often called the most under powered and gimp class according to a lot of people, and I think I know the OP might be a friend of mine and he was always quick to say how terrible paladins where..........even if monks got a bit of a nerf bat I still think they are much more powerful and useful to play compared to paladins.

Heh might even be worth a look at splashing 2 pally on a monk for the cha to saves and access to divine might......not sure but yeah the most powerful things about paladin you can get with a 2 level splash then its diminishing returns.

I actually waited on redoing the enhancements on my monk (mostly cause it looked complicated and stuff)

And now I'm gonna have to agree with the whole "Why did you nerf my Monk" business.

I mean seriously- ALL 4 Ultimate stances as automatic feats?!?!?
That leaves me with like 22 AP points that I'm supposed to spend or else that little bothersome note pops up about how many points I have left. AND Now I've spent as many as possible and STILL can't seem to use them up.

Darn you "17 points left" notice, you are going to force my hand and make me spend it on those dragonmarks aren't you?
    Well played, Well played.

(also /sarcasm - for the OP- just in case he's he thinks this is legit)
