Default New Augments - +15 to skill is level 28??

    From the Relase Notes:

    •Colorless Skill Augments:
    •Level 4
    •+3 Bonus to Skill
    •Level 8
    •+5 Bonus to Skill
    •Level 12
    •+7 Bonus to Skill
    •Level 16
    •+9 Bonus to Skill
    •Level 20
    •+11 Bonus to Skill
    •Level 24
    •+13 Bonus to Skill
    •Level 28
    •+15 Bonus to Skill
A +15 to a skill of choice is listed as a level 28 Augment?
    Why?
Cannith Crafting can add a +13 to a skill with a Minimum Level of 11, which is about what those are worth.

Because the don't want anyone to buy skill augments or have any use for clear augment slots?

The most likely reason is because they allow for more customization options, which, in turn, will likely reduce the amount of items one carries in one's inventory. For example, I'm really excited about being able to get a +15 haggle augment, which I will be placing on my Mantle of the Dragonfriend (Epic Normal Version). This would mean I get to finally bank the +15 haggle ring I have, either freeing up an inventory slot, or filling it with another item I can use, more. If I can also get the bluff +15 augment and put it in the other slot of the Mantle, then I can put up my bluff necklace (golden guile), and free up yet another slot. This also means that, when using the associated skills which link to charisma, I only need to put on this one item. Yes, if I really want to, I can try to farm FoT for the Ring of Deceit, which gives me +20 to all charisma-based skills, in addition to, what is it? Charisma +8? But, frankly, I have a better chance at getting these augments than I do at pulling that ring. So I'm thinking that the devs might have the following in mind: with the new level cap come further conveniences in gear setups, but those conveniences come at a particular price. Kind of like everything else in the game, really.
Power corrupts. Absolute power is really kinda neat.

In general I think they argue that items with skills on them will hit something like 20 and the augment is meant to 'augment' an items ability. And In a way I agree - if you look at augments at large they're 1 or 2 steps behind the item itself. Personally I'm waiting for tactical skill augments (as hinted) but they're going to be red. And that's a pity since they seem to be very frugal with augments in this pack.
