    Default Cove / Spyglass / Secret Doors / Expansion

    Would someone who has been following the expansion discussions, especially the secret door work, tell me if the Treasure Hunters' Spyglass will be affected in any way?

    If I can know by tomorrow night when the Cove ends I'll be able to decide if I need to make more of 'em.

    (For that matter, are there any cove items that are going to become more useful after the expansion?)

    Spyglass will still have TS on it, the item itself is not changing.

    True Seeing will now detect secret doors if you would have been able to find the door with a Spot & Search check of 30.

    So does that mean it will not always work on some secret doors? That would be a change from the present.

    That's exactly what it means.

    Depending on the DC's set by the devs some Secret Doors may and likely will require more than 30, making True Seeing useless for those doors.

    The amusing thing (in an irritating way) is that when my Monk was level 25 she lived in GMoF and so had the ability to bypass Blur/Displacement without True Seeing. If True Seeing won't let me see Secret Doors on that character then it is essentially...useless...
