Default Does questing over level affect named loot drop chance?

Frex, say I'm level 16 and I want to keep running Invaders! until Beholder Optic Nerve drops. Since it's a level 12 quest, I know I'll get minimal xp, but does it matter whether or not I run it on Casual or Elite vis-?*-vis the chance of the named item dropping?

I'm no expert, but I dd exactly what you are talking about (except I was level 14), and got the optic nerves on Normal. I think I got them on about the 7th or 8th run.

It's my belief (and I could be utterly wrong) that your level doesn't affect it.

Running quests over level makes no difference but the quest difficulty does. So running stuff on Hard or Elite usually have a better drop rate than say Normal.

    Stoner81,
