Default Malcontent II - a post-enhancement pass munchkin build

Based loosely on the old Malcontent (sorry, gone with the old forums, but it was a high-synergy 8 fighter/6 ranger/6 monk WSS build), this version takes advantage of the new enhancement system to squeeze in tempest and [strike] kensei and still have enough levels for 3rd-tier monk stances (wind/earth to switch from DPS to tank). Monk PrE is ninja, of course, for defense.

In theory, this could be any race or weapon, but I have spec'd out a dwarf both because the axes are pretty good weapons in this combination and it allows me to list a 32-point build with light tome investment.[/strike]

Bear in mind, of course, that this could be entirely wrong by the time the enhancement pass actually comes out

Edit: Of course, everything is different, so I've changed back to a WSS elf.

Tier 5 ninja is far and away the best PrE; +100% doublestrike for 6 seconds every 30 seconds, crippling strike (-2 STR on sneak attack, grab unbalancing strike on the way up)c, and touch of death. In this instance, it also allows us to use DEX for to-hit and damage with longswords, shortswords, kamas, and at least 2 staves. Shintao will give 10% offhand proc with minimal investment, leaving plenty of AP for displacement dragonmarks and tempest enhancements.

Sorry to say, but if you were aiming to use d.axes whilst centered then you need at least 8 fighter levels due to feat requirements for some of those enhancements.
I see my path, but I don't know where it leads. Not knowing where I'm going is what inspires me to travel it.

Well, I can only go by what is on the wiki, but that leads me to ask; why the **** would you have an ability with a min level of 5 that you aren't allowed to take until 8?

It's just one of many, many things which was poorly balanced or thought out in the alpha (IMHO). It's part of why I'm very reluctant to make build decisions now based on what was in the alpha; we've no idea yet how things will be rebalanced before launch. At least wait until it's out of closed beta!
