Default Question about damage in game

I just returned from a long break and noticed that you can no longer see your damage bonus for your weapons and such in you inventory details. Is there a way to tell what it is now besides hitting something? Sorry for the stupid question lol

perhaps hit 'Z' for the information on the item with the item selected?

Alternatively, you can look up the item on DDO wiki or other item database web sites.

I meant more like how in the details section it shows what your to hit is but not you damage bonus added to the weapon.. Like is there a way to tell how much damage you are gaining from your str and buffs and sets without counting them and trying to figure it out that way, I remember it used to show up not sure why it doesn't anymore.

IIRC it never worked properly even when it was there, or it only worked for handwraps, or something like that.

Easiest way would probably be to just go to the test dummy, whack enough rounds to see what your min and max is, and then subtract your +X[W] base value.

It got removed for characters who do not use handwrpas a while back, and it has never been fixed. There is currently no way to see your +DMG on a character that wields weapons.

I think they attempted to make it so monks could see their damage, and screwed it up by removing it for everyone else.

A long overdue fix that will probably not happen before the last player quits the game.
