Is the change in speed a new way that will effect all loot with a speed bonus (including augments)?

I think horrendous isn't quite strong enough to describe these items.

About the only thing I can see using any of those armors/outfits for it a UMD swap item. And since most of my characters by the time they can use them can scroll GH anyway, it's basically a way to save plat and time restocking once every few months.

So... what happened to the guy who made good loot? He quit and become a mime?
It was the night before Hogswatch....

I'll be blunt: the armors are crusty pig manure.

As someone mentioned above, it's only useful if your character wants to bump up UMD or Haggle and you have no GH scrolls or UMD. In quest, that means just the robe would useful.

As bad as the armor is, a Docent version would be as useful or more useful than a robe. Unfortunately, as usual, no Docent version. Not a surprise since players have to keep yelling about the lack of Docents in the game...and the severe lack of useful unique docents in the game.

This is an Expansion, right? Shouldn't there at least be some decent new armors of each type...especially if you're going the lazy random effects route on named items.

Yeah, it appears I looked too quickly. I thought "furs" was a robe as I scanned down, since there's been a big outcry to make seperate robe and outfits lately.

Still both a lazy and bad design, but more useful as an outfit and docent than the other two.

And there still needs to be more unique but useful armors. Especially docents.

These armor are useless. No one is going to drop their current epic dragon armor for this. I hope there's more to this then what we see now, like a juicy set bonus - like a new way of upgrading these armor through a process similar to reavers. Because if this is it I can't even bother pick it up. Hopefully they'll offer some Renown as well.

Yep, they need a blue slot, + another locked effect + maybe another random effect (from a set of armor parameters, Vitality, False Life, Protection etc etc)

If those are just base armors and you can put other effects on them a la Dragontouched, that'd be SWEET.

    If not, huh?
    I edited a book!

Does the GH stay if you key it for cannith crafting?

If so, these are awesome. If not, I don't really get the point, I'd rather have random loot I can sell for pp or get crafting essences with.

    WOW.

These armors are indeed vendor trash.
There's got to be something missing here.. upgrades via the new raid that isn't done yet or something, right?

I mean jeez! +10 armor and a passive GH effect that doesn't even give the fear immunity.

For comparison, I can make a Deathblock item of Invulnerability and put that on at level 5 with a masterful craftsmanship shard.

I can't for the life of me fathom what these pieces of junk are good for.

    Default Items

Seems like their may be some sort of a disconnect between item developers for new items and the currently existing in-game items. The new items in general seem to be of a lower quality than already existing equipment. Named loot anyway, random generated loot is looking good.

Useless items, and more random effects. Meh.
    It's definitely an N-word.
