...if they stuck closer to the pen and paper rules and never bothered with trying to "WoW-ize" the game? What would be something you'd wish they'd have kept from the PnP version when designing the game, or what would be something you'd wish they would include?
I wish there were more quests like Party Crashers that relied on mechanics beyond fighting and brute force. If skills like Bluff or Intimidate and the ability to Detect Evil was actually useful for making a final boss easier (or non-existent). I think there's a place for characters who can HULK SMASH legions of enemies, but I feel there should be a place in the game for other skills beyond sheer combat prowess. Having someone capable of bluffing or spotting the Tieflings in Party Crashers certainly has an impact on the game, but it's not required, either. It felt like the perfect mix of abilities, and I'm sad more quests aren't like that.
