    Default THF Cleric Build - Need Feedback Please

    "I have a few past lives behind me. Just finished with a FVS life and thought I would do a few cleric lives next.
    Im NOT looking to stay at 20(other than a little token farming) and rather at having a nice even DPS progression through out leveling to 20.
    I run with a TR partner always. I am unsure of what class they intend to take next life(looks like it could be THF Horc Barb), but my build must be able to solo sufficiently."

    Yes I know blade barrier is held back by 2 levels, I dont see to much problem with it as I just finished up a life of FVS/Monk only getting blade barier at level 14 and using unarmed combat with stunning fists as my only melee feat up untill then.
    The 1st FVS life I ran was pure and only got blade barier at level 13 anyways(found it hard work getting to 13).

    The level of wizard is just to get heighten for some token farming if needed. I could take it at any point i feel my dc's arent cutting it i guess, but would rather have my last cleric spells at 19 than 20 if I can push it that far.

    EDIT: one other thing, whats the viability of taking a exotic feat for bastard sword/dwarvern axe ? Would the glancing blows still land with a sheild equipped ?

    My approach to battleclerics is based on the fact that melee DPS beats caster DPS at low levels, but caster DPS beats melee at higher lvls. So I start out melee-focused then gradually shift into full-time casting.

    It's pretty similar to Ellis's necro cleric, but I'm pretty sure we developed them independently. Great minds think alike, or something.

    At low lvls, she plays like a typical melee BC; SPs are reserved mostly for heals, buffs, and the occasional CC (Command, Sound Burst). The wiz splash grants Master's Touch (need +3 INT item or Fox's Cunning wands to cast); Power Atk + 2H weapon + Divine Favor + Bull's STR / Divine Power should see you thru the first several levels. Over time, you'll shift more into a caster role; when you get lvl 6 spells, you'll rely on Blade Barrier & Cometfall to do the heavy lifting, though you can keep meleeing as well if you really want.
