    You know, they can level off the heal amp problem by just never adding anything else into the game with it. Because it's a percentile bonus and not a flat number (such as the skill boosts and the dodge bonuses), it already will scale with any upcoming change they will ever create. It's about the only thing in this game that is 100% capable of receiving 0 changes and yet survive all upcoming updates and expansions.

    I hate to be the bearer of bad news but my "8%" adamantine cloak of the wolf only gives 4% on my character sheet on Lamania. It either doesn't stack with another source of dodge or simply is nothing more than a description change on the item.

    EDIT: It's the only source of dodge I have from my items and when I get naked and put just the cloak on I only see an increase of 5% dodge chance. How is this supposed to work?

    Doesn't dodge item stacking currently stack with -1% on the lower item?

    If you have 3 items 4%, 3%, 2% dodge bonus you would only get 7% dodge (4+2+1).

    I would try to sell you on it, but first I'd have to sell you on a crappy dodge system. Like the one we have. Altering the values doesn't make a poor system better, it just makes it a poor system with different numbers.

    But it frees up some gear slots. That's a plus.

    I like this a lot- before, it was necessary to tie gear set up in knots and/or use substandard, lower level gear so that you could hit high levels of dodge- now we can use an endgame item and you're good to go. It's definitely going to change gear set-up for the better. The fact I can use one gear slot for what I previously needed 3 is a definite buff, in my opinion.
