    Default Permadeath Cleric fighter

I don't post much on these forums because much Permadeath requires a bit different approach to character planning that doesn't include items , TR and Twink gear.

    However

I have a fun H-orc cleric 10 / fighter 1 leveling up and was looking for some input into a splash of Wiz.

Designed to fight on the line with aura going and heal with bursts .

Permadeath is not about max damage but more role capable and survivability.

Will level to 12 cleric / 1 fighter then ...??? fighter level 2 or Wiz 1

Wiz would only be for the feat bonus so I can get Quicken and empower . Also Shield spell for THF

Feats so far toughness , maximize , empower healing, power attack , extra turning

Feats needed : quicken , empower , IC slash

Take the 2nd fighter first for the feat... although PD is not just about max damage.... IC slash makes things more fun... you can also use that to up your strength...
and if you take Wiz at L14 or 15 is not much difference.... then you can use those blur wands you find. Just make sure your INT is at least 11 (with items)! LOL!

Default 2nd level fighter for sure

    Hello!

I currently have the same build in Permadeath too, half-orc, cleric 15/fighter 2 currently and is for sure the way to go; I've taken the second level of fighter after BB, +1 STR an another feat are great. I go THF with cannith axe of fire; my only fear are the infamous beholders, hehe

As a first life is easy to level up and the only named items I have with a little luck an effort are the Bloodstone and the Minos helmet; if you need some advice just ask : )

    Good luck with PD!

Yes as for items she has done fairly well

Holy greatsword of lacerating now , and an Icy burst greatsword of improved bloodletting
and +4 crippling magecraft full plate for level 12

I guess fighter level for 14 then ....

Have a look at this build I posted; it's a WIS-based dwarf, but the idea of emphasizing survivability might be helpful.
