    Default Cleric wasted turns (glows)

Hi on my cleric when the character cast Positive energy aura it dont get the glow but a turn is used anyway, out of combat so its not failing concentration.. i press it, my toon animates to cast it and then nothing, no aura... can waste upto 10 turns at a time trying to get 1 glow for 60 seconds..

but anyway this is wrecking my experience on this char, aspecially after grinding out completionist i dont want to tr anymore.. so question is does anyone know a way to prevent this?

i know it used to be if it happend you could simply press it again and it would work but not anymore, any help is appreciated thanks

Have you asked your party if they were getting healed by your aura?

If you prefer to solo, grab a hire and go into a quest. Let the hire (I suggest fighter/melee) get beat down in a fight or two, then pop aura and see if they heal.

It could just be another graphical glitch.

You MUST have yourself targeted in your orb for the aura to work properly. It's an extra step to have to take, but it works every time if you make sure to do this.

I had this issue before i TR'd my cleric and got in the habit of selecting myself before casting the aura but there is also a glitch though it is rare that I found but never posted it is when you do this it doesn't even animate and you get a heads-up as wrong person selected so the way around it is to use the hot-bar to select a different weapon set then go back to the preferred one and it should work unless they have fixed that but I have heard from clerics they do get that from time to time
Don't be fooled life is a game and there is no cheat codes or glitches just really mad devs getting even with us all

You don't necessarily have to have yourself targeted but it is the best approach.

Here are times to be cognizant of:

    1. After going through a Loading screen (Entering quests, going through a portal etc.)
    2. When you have a mob selected and it dies, you need to press F1 or target another before you refresh your Aura

Pressing F1 before using Aura is a good habit to get into as you will have fewer missed auras. This is actually a known issue that was a result of the fix that allowed us to use our aura when we were not the target. We traded "Invalid Target" for "Missed Auras". But at least now we can target another and still activate are aura, that is as long as they don't die before we are done casting.

This bug has been around for a while in one form or another.

You'll need to target yourself EVERY TIME right before you use your aura.
If you don't, most times you will lose the turn, go on cooldown, and have nothing to show for it. Sometimes it works like it's supposed to, but that is a rare thing.

All you need to have targeted is something - anything.

Yourself, party member, a MOB, a door, a box, anything. But something must be targeted.

It's totally true, I have a reliable source. You better reroll now.

This, it was specifically No.2 that you wrote there, was so used to bursts working fine that it dident hit me the problem with glow could be so obvious, have already started getting into the habbit of pressing f1 before using it now
