Default I'd just like to register my disgust in regards to CitW

I have yet to get a commendation this raid. Just blew a pile of resources carrying a bunch of baggage through it again tonight. All I ended up with for my efforts was vendor trash and a sense of having been violated. I don't see any future in DDO, it's just too far gone. Hurry up and die please, so someone else can get the D&D license.

And my bard has pulled 2 pinions that I want on my archer in 4 runs, while my archer has pulled the twilight I want on my bard once in 13 runs while looking for the pinion.

I do get comms over half my runs though, and most of them are on normal, with maybe 3 or 4 hard completions.

On ee, eh or en when you're just trying to farm some gear no, it's just a boring escort quest not much different than power play in house c or detour in high road. Kill trash, kill lolth, (who is immobile and you can only see her belly button when attacking), and divines hide behind phallic objects. (that's a dev comment on what a healer is suppossed to do)

Haha I was on one of those pinion runs with my monk a couple of days ago. I put my Balizarde up for roll yet only one person rolled for it.

I think item drop rates on items are rather good there. I looted my Antipode on my third run (which did drop for my toon) and there were other wraps up for roll on that same run. I've passed / put a whole lot of weapons up for roll from there too. Only thing I need from there for my monk would be a Sireth, just in case quarterstaff monks come to live as strong as they are looking now on Lamma.

I don't think I've gotten many commendations though. Nearly all heroic comms I have on my monk have come from FoT.

That is pretty much CITW and how it works. I keep a 1st life toon with capped EDs for en-eh raids. It funds my TR, keeps favor up, and gives me a break from grinding the same heroic dungeons 10x each. Hunting for Cleaver Hewer I decided I would buy 40 raid timers and go nuts. I still haven't found one. Comms rarely drop, but have been really lucky with other named weapons in my loot gens. 2 celestia, 3 balizarde, 2 sireth, pinion, 2 nightmare, breach, twilight. My 20th i took twilight, 40th needler. Both on 20th and 40th completions= no Cleaver or Antipode.

Last night's run crushed my soul a little. 2 Cleavers pulled one by rogue and one by caster, caster puts it to roll. Me and one other guy roll d100, only us two. He rolls 34, I'm thinking yes omg i got this!!!111 finally!!! Visions of Charlie Sheen saying winning sitting on mounds of blow pilled on naked porno stars danced in my head. I get "you rolled a 33"...

I'm done with you citw, for a while.. Going to run 60 shrouds on my tr for every gs item instead.

I have said for 3 years now that it's absolutely ******** that someone can run a raid more than 20 times and not get what they're looking for, and 20th lists should be full lists.

Just like all other good suggestions on the board, it has fallen on deaf ears

I pulled approx 6 coms from CitW in 20 runs on my rogue. The drop rate is horrible for coms, but it is more than worth running for various reasons IMO.

However, I would suggest running the Fall of Truth raid in Gianthold. 1 com on normal, 2 on hard I believe. They drop damn near every time I run the raid. Heck, Im assuming they are a guaranteed drop for you.

14 runs for me. NOT ONE ITEM HAS DROPPED. This is just ridiculous. I've run a combination of EN and EH (i just dont have the stomach and/or patience to run this riad on EE nor the inclination). I've gotten maybe 4 CoH in these 14 runs.

This is really frustrating. At least make it like scale drops or the same as FoT. It's at least as hard as FoT (if not harder and most certainly a lot longer).

For a raid with the longest flagging mechanic in the game, make the rewards worthwhile please (especially as most people will have completed all the flagging quests on EE to get the Fav).

Wow, rough. I've seen Cleaver pulled every other run - I thought it was a less rare drop than the others, but I guess I was wrong.

It seems that equipment drops more on EN than EH, and comms drop slightly more on EH.

Yet it's ridiculous that comms don't drop in CitW like they do in FoT. What a senseless mechanism.

This seems like a request for corrupt a wish.

Some dev will read this and in the next patchnotes we'll read,

"Drop rates in CITW have been lowered to keep people running the raid"

I think the lower drop rates keeps people away from runing CITW. If you already have the item you are after there, why continue to run it? It unlikely that you will get a com, so your better off running FoT instead. Only reason to still run CITW is for 20th completion. People dont still run Shrould just for 20th completion, they also get the mats they need.

I hav only ever had 2 coms in CITW and they were on my 1st 2 runs. Also I got Twilight on my 1st run, so no need to re-run it on my cleric. Mostly I see 1 com and 1 item drop between 20 people.
