    Default Need a build: 18/2 f2p wizard/rogue

    Hello, I was looking in the forums.. I know there are many builds like the one I want.. but I can't find any of them.

    I need one human and a drow. I know the basic, but I am not sure about the features and spells/items or weapons (repeater).

    If you have time, please post a build for me here, or a link.

    Essentially, race to the level 4 aoe damage spells (firewall, acid rain, ice storm) and then take evasion.

    Maximize + Empower Spell is more of a Sorceror's game; maximize alone is sufficient for a pale master, who primarily insta-kills anyway. Extend is particularly nice for your aura, plus it helps with hage and displace.

    I'm using this build too. So far I like it. has worked well in groups and solo with hirelings. I've been running with a barbarian and pet and while they deal with agro I stun and freeze from afar. I didn't get too far with her, just now reaching level 5 so I can't tell you how efficient this build is at mid and higher levels. I did notice that in hard and elite mode sometimes disarming a box will explode. I've not used any tomes with the build. I know this isn't the feedback you was seeking but I wanted to give the topic a bump and hear from an expert how good this build is.

    Hello, I made the wizard rogue, and he is doing a good job, at lvl 4 now.

    I have been doing only solo quests with a hire on elite, and I haven`t died yet... I had problems with yellow alert, when I am surrounded by enemies I have to run and hide in a corner till the hire helps me to kill all...

    With the traps, I changed one of the enhancements (I dropped improved concentration for action skill boost) and I only had a fail in Durk s quest on elite (that nasty acid trapped chest), but I was at lvl 3 with +3 disabling googles and +3 tools. Now I have all +5 tools and +5 trapper gear (for lvl 3) so I think I won t have trouble with most elite traps, as skills are maxed and the intelligence bonus helps...

    My biggest problem in the quests I had played was the spells selection, I had nyac cold ray and the mobs did a lot of reflex saves and I was making no damage (and wasting all my mana). I changed that spell and I inscribed sonic blast and things worked a lot better (skeletons and oozes are inmune to cold also...)

    I dont have many experience in this kind of build, I played mainly melee (and no TR yet), so I keep swinging my quarterstaff while I cast spells and that is the way I am killing things...

    I think this build will be better at higher levels, when he gets more powerfull spells like fireball, firewall, acid rain and that kind of things, but I have to try it and see what happens when I face mobs that could kill me with one swing of their axe.

    I am not sure how to end this post.. so: I am going to sleep, I wish you all good loot and no deaths :P

    Where did you find the +5 tools? The highest I've found with merchants or chests is +2.

    Funny you mentioned that durk's acid trap chest I failed it too.

    I bought them in the AH, I am not sure where can you find them in game. What server are you playing in? If you can`t afford them maybe I can send some +5 tools to you
