    Alas, my real account is unable to log in to the new forums due to the inability to complete the "registration". Created a new free account so I could at least play around in the new forums until I am able to login properly!

    Sent in a ticket for it, we'll see how long it takes.

    How did/do you send in a ticket? I didn't see an obvious mechanism.

    Go to https://myaccount.turbine.com/
    Use your game credentials to log in.
    Go to Account Profile.
    Confirm your email
    Make sure country is either USA or Canada
    confirm your password.
    submit

    now try logging into the forums.

    This worked for me as well.
    Shapshap, League of Extraordinary Ham, Sarlona and a bunch of alts that all have names begining with Sha or Sho. Of course Shapshap could be the alt and one of the others the main, it just depends on what day it is.

    Worked.

    OK, 2 questions that remain:

    1.) What are the statistics of Turbine worth now if any forumite is automatically regarded as either US or Canadien?

    2.) When will we face the next downtime when they try to fix this by adding important countries like Albania or Bhutan only to find out they forgot Australia, China and India only to generate the next downtime to fix this as well?

    It would appear that Turbine has 'fixed' this workaround. That link now takes me to a white page that says "No language type found". Thwarted again.

    Still can't log in. Just about done with this. I'm about as close as I've ever been to saying "**** this game, I'm outta here". And I've been here since the beginning. I'll give them another day or two to remove head from ass. We shall see.

    And no, you don't want my stuff. It's all **** anyway

    Confirmed both last night onLinux and today on Firefox.

    Maybe it's A CUNNING PLAN to increase the volume of Turbine Help Desk tickets to the point they can't be handled for years to come? I know how well those have gone for me in the past.
