    Default Quarterstaff Beater

So, I don't like my life as a Monkcher. It is not my play style. It has amazing burst DPS, but i prefer a melee character. I have warped mine into a melee/manyshot build. So of course I have been planning Yesmmmm's next life.
This build was heavily influenced by unbongwah's Three Ring Circus Horcrobat build. I played that build for two of this toons rogue lives and loved it, but there was something missing from the build.

I will spend the rest of this life grinding gear and such for his next life. I love quarterstaffs, and the synergy with monks. This build focuses on self sufficiency, melee ability, and grabbing those nasty traps. I cant image a Yesmmmm without trapping, it was weird this life and i hated it. This build is meant for endgame viability using Legendary Dreadnought with some twists from Grand-master of Flowers and Fury of the Wild. The APs are spent on maximizing Melee damage, and Scroll healing ability. I give you The Yesmmmm Staff Master:

Disclaimer-This is a 36 point build that has eaten +4 Tomes. This build will not work with a 28 Point, and can be made to work with a 32- Just drop points from Dex and Cha. Obviously adjust your starting stats to what tomes you have available

For Epic Levels, Legendary Dreadnought is the way to go with this. Twist in Dance of Flowers for another 1.5 W damage while centered (which should be all the time),and Primal Scream for your second twist. For the third Twist, Sense Weakness from FotW. At Level 21, take Overwhelming Critical, and at lvl 24, Grab Improved Martial Arts for an extra 1[W] with your hand wraps and an extra 0.5[W] with your quarterstaffs.

The end-all, be all weapon, meant for this build is Sireth, Spear of the Sky, but i used Rahl's Might just as effectively, even into Caught in the Web. Wooden quarterstaffs will be your friend, because you can cast Shillelagh The druid version of Deadly Weapons for wooden quarterstaffs. Due to earth stance being used for everything once you have it, you will have plenty of monster hate. Displacement clickies, or blur scrolls/wands for those people who hate grinding Shroud(me), plus 25% Incorp from Shadow Fade from your Ninja Spy I enhancement, plus ghostly or other like items, will help with not being a smear on the ground. The AC for this build is not fantastic, but not quite glass cannon. Also, you will have right around a 15% dodge as well, so not getting hit at all is a pretty good chance

Even as a non-human, you should still be getting plenty of hp's from your scrolls. W&S Master II gives you 45% increaed heals, along with 30% from monk recovery, some PDK Gauntlets and 20% bracers means you should get around 300 per scroll.

Still working on a gear set for endgame, so i will post that when its mostly done.

I'm going to give this build a shot next life, however if i love it, I am going to do TR a bit more. Figure ill get one more monk life after this one, 3 pally, 3 arti, and 3 barb lives to wrap up the goodies. With the pally PLs I will probably Swap out Weapon focus for PL:Pally

Let me know your thoughts and inputs! I couldn't sleep, and i hated my monkcher so bad i stayed up ALL night figuring out how to be awesome again. Only took 5 liters of Mountain Dew and a pack of Marlboro's to come up with this. That was also a fair warning there may be grammar or spelling errors everywhere that my tired brain cant see!

    Looks like a fun build

one question I have is, why earth stance?
is +1 to crit multiplier better than the 12.5% speed increase AND a 7.5% chance to double strike from wind stance?

You MUST try out Stout Oak Walking Stick with that build. It is amazing with Shillelagh, heightened critical multipliers and added base weapon damage. You MUST!

Looks like a solid build. Not sure I'd spend 6 AP for another 10% healing amp, but I guess you'll find your preferences throughout your life. Personally, if it wasn't a final life I'd drop the THF line and play around a little with some other feats that could help during levels 1-20. Also weapon focus seems a bit of a waste in any situation, as you don't go Kensai, as you don't have fighter levels. I find that on a heavy STR focused build, stunning blow performs well at heroic levels.
Cleave and Great Cleave rock when you get your sneak attack.

Also if you have the ingredients for it, consider a green steel LitII staff. Shillelagh won't work with it, but its still the best weapon for leveling, as you seem to have planned at least another life after the build you posted here.

Yeah, I've found in my experience playing Gefry (rog/mnk/dru staff build) that the Stout Oak is usually a better choice than Sireth unless you have an Arti in the party. It's certainly better for trash. I also tend towards Fury as my main ED, but that's because I pretty much only run in groups. Solo, LD is nice for Master's.

I agree with this also the Sireth feels slower but the Dreampiercer is out preforming both IMO the neg level thing is huge esp. on EE.

It's good for trash I'm assuming, bosses don't seem to give two flips. I'll have to experiment, I have em all so that's convenient eh?
