Did you have a chance to test this build on Lami before it went down for the Shadowfell beta? It looks like Fatal Harrier is due for a nerf, unfortunately; so, wondering if druid 7 / FH is still worth it. OTOH, dropping the feat pre-reqs for Tempest means freeing up feats for other things. I've been toying with ideas for rgr / druid builds lately; the PrE feat pre-reqs on live make them a little too subpar even for me, but I'm hoping things will improve under the new Enhancements...

Yes, but the split of Fatal Harrier and Druid Spell Power/Crit% Enhancements pushed the AP limit to far with 7 Druid. Also, your pretty forced into the whole Summer/Winter cycle thing, which doesn't suit the Energy Bursts.

I've tested an alternative 12 Ranger/6 Sorc/2 Fighter build, and that works really well. Against the CR 0.5 Kobolds in the Dojo lol.

Lets just say I'll be paying Sorcerer Air Savant and the Dragonmark of Storm some very, very close attention once the Expansion pack hits.

Finally - I've finally completed my first T3 Alchemical Air-Air-Air Khopesh as of last night, 11-07-2013, and slotted it with 1D10 Electric Damage.

Well, it just had to be done didn't it ?

    Hi Arlathen,

How's this build and your Whirling Dervish doing with the new enhancements? This one seems pretty interesting one, thought I should give it a try...

I'm working through all my builds at the moment, although the Stormbringer has been LR'd and base tested in his new 12 Ranger / 6 Sorc / 2 Fighter incarnation, and it works very well. The only reason I haven't updated the build is that I'm having some real difficulties with his gear, and I'm trying to see how feasible Alchemicals are in the new content - do I bin them and move on or look for a new Lightning Strike weapon (I haven't seen any...). I'm also musing over my armour of choice... I have Cormyrian Red, but I have the scales to build the Velah Red or go for Flawless Blue at the moment. Bracers of Wind are still nice, but I'd like more Electric Spellpower. I've designed a way to 400 Electric Spell Power, but getting there is going to be... difficult. I've also finally got my Amulet of the Stormreaver, and it's left me wondering if I should finally move on from Epic Charged Gauntlets...

So many choices to work out. When I've done, so I'll update.

As for the Whirling Dervish, the Dark Inquisitor, and my other characters they've all been heavily modified. The Whirling Dervish, for example, is no longer a Ranger based character, but is instead a 20 Monk pure character specialising in Stealth!
