    Default Spirit Binder on a Guild Ship

    Maybe this is already an option that I am unaware off...

    But a Spirit Binder on our guild ships would be nice.

    That way once my buffs wear...I can /death and then rebuff and stuff at my ship.

    its been mentioned before, but I never understood why we cant bind on the ship. I don't think anyone came up with a good reason why not. it would take up a hook point, though, so might have to choose between a spirit binder or a dummy.

    Just bind in the twelve it's right by the guild ship entrance.

    As near as I can figure it, there are two possible reasons why we don't have Binders on airships...

    One, ships are temporary instances that can close. That could very well cause a complication for Spirit Binders - since all other Binders are in permanent instances.

    Two, what happens when the Binder amenity expires? This may be a leap of programing-logic that makes putting Binders on a ship problematic. Sure, it's one thing to say, "Well, we just get rerouted to the airship tower in the Marketplace," but the reality of making it work that way might be much more complex.


    In any event, it'd be a great thing to have in the game - and I'd be all for it. I really hope that the reason why we don't have them is laziness on the Devs' behalf.

    IIRC somedev mentioned that as the primary reason why they can't do it.

    But this one is probably more important from a Dev point of view.
    On G-Land : Flavilandile, Blacklock, Yaelle, Millishande, Larilandile, Gildalinde, Tenalafel, and many other...
