Recently I went with the idea of rebuild my barbarian's equip a bit.
So I decided to pull off my Cormyrian Red Dragon Scale in favor of a new shiny Gianthold's Black Dragon Armor.
My idea of equip is this one:
Trinket : Planar Focus +8 str
Necklace : +45 hp smoke GS
Head : +3 str Black Dragon Helm
Goggles : EH DreamVisor
Bracers : +30% Heal amp of Superior Parrying
Boots : Upgraded Madstone
Gloves : EE Netherese Grasps
Belt : Epic Spare Hands (switch with ravager when against bosses)
Cloak : Mithral Cloak of the Wolf
Ring1 : Epic ring of the Stalker
Ring2 : Seal of House Dun'Robar +2 cos/+10 stun (switch with ravager against bosses
Armor : Black Dragon Armor
Weapon : Cleaver (Switch with eSoS against bosses)
[Ofc I'll slot the obvious stuffs in augment slot like :+7 cos, +6 int/cha/wis, +1 exc etc]
My equip, this way, should be effective and should grant me a decent amount of dps, but I've a critical doubt... It would be better to craft a medium or a light armor?
Problem is that medium armor will cap my dex bonus to 8 (if I remember well) capping my dodge bonus as well.
Since my equip and feats should provide me a 13% dodge without considering eventual twists for it (6% for barbarian uncanny dodge + 3% from cloak + 4% from dun'robar) it would be bad imho to waste a 5% dodge that way
I dunno how much the AC difference would raise my defenses anyway so maybe count on hand the medium armor could be better for higher PRR and such...
Can somebody help me with this conundrum, pls?
