    Default NoLife - a Warforged build for lives you don't want to do

    So, not everyone enjoys every character class. Playing some is a real drag, you just don't find them fun, but you feel that you need them to achieve your character objectives. This build aims to make levelling a life you don't enjoy a lot more fun.

    The levelling build is (10 Artificer, 7 Fighter, 3 Other), then when you reach 20 use a +5 Lesser Heart to become (6 Artificer, 6, Fighter, 8 Other) and then True Reincarnate.

    This build gives you the following
    Solid melee damage,
    Solid ranged damage,
    solid self healing,
    maximum traps, locks and UMD skills.
    The only thing it lacks is evasion, and it has a way to mitigate that.

    The play style for the build: Start with Endless Fusillade and shoot things with your Repeater, then when they close in on you whip out that big old 2 hander (carnifix, whirlwind, sword of shadows, greensteel) and go to town with cleave/great cleave, use your damage boosts as often as you can.

    Important things that aren't obvious:

    This gets you cleave and great cleave pretty early on and keeps your trap skills pretty much maxed all the way. At low levels UMD just ain't that important so letting it lag is fine.

    At level 6 taking Past Life: Berserker's Fury, this gives you more HP than Toughness and a Rage. This should be swapped out at level 12 (or 13) for Toughness by visiting Lockania, doing her quest and using the free feat swap, this then lets you become a Stalwart. Being a Stalwart (in stance) lets you wear Madstone Boots which are a great item with striding, dex and potency, the stance stops you getting madstoned and lets you keep on casting.

    The last 3 levels 18, 19 and 20 are the class you are doing this for. It doesn't matter what class it is as you will have enough skill points to keep disable, search and umd maxed. Anything else that class gives you is just gravy.

    Key spells:
    Toughen Construct (for AC),
    Stoneskin (damage mitigation),
    Enchanted Weapon replaced by Elemental Weapon,
    Repair (whichever) ultimatly Quickened Repair Critical,
    Protection from Element replaced by Protection from Elements
    Enchanted Armour replaced by Armour of Speed
    Quickended Flaming Turret
    100-200sp buffing self and party. Rest on Stoneskin, Prot elements and self heals.

    Key Enhancements:
    Artificer Battle Engineer
    Fighter Stalwart Defender
    Fighter Haste Boost 3
    Artificer Damage Boost 4
    Fighter Toughness
    Warforged Power Attack
    Warforged Healers Friend
    Fighter Strength/Warforged Constitution to even out your stats

    Lack of Evasion: Traps can hurt, a lot. But you have decent enough HP to survive most of them, especially if you use Protection from Element (and then Protection from Elements) to take out the sting from most elemental based traps. Similarly these two spells help deal with general AoE damage. Sure they get blown away and you mostly rely on resists, but they help absorb that big old first hit. You have the sp to keep these up all the time.

    I'm having a blast with this.
